I saw a girl crying whilst reading a book,

but I knew the story wasn't sad

I saw a boy who always wore long sleeves,

even in summer

I saw a girl selling things on the street,

but she was seven

I saw a boy shivering in the corner of the room,

other 4 kids walking towards him

I saw a sad girl taking three pills at once,

but I don't think they were legal

I saw a boy on top of a 30 storey building,

looking down

I found a thin lonely leaf wandering aimlessly,

begging to be seen,

but I turned away.
