CH.12 QUESTIONING

I'm having dinner with Mina, "don't worry" she said to me, she caught me zoned out a lot during dinner, "sorry what did you say?" I looked at her, "I said don't worry" she reach out her hand and I take it, "Darling, I won't let anything happen to you. No matter what I have to do, no matter how messy it can get, I promise you'll be safe" she rubbed her thumb softly on my hand, "thank you" I smiled.

8:35am I'm in the investigation room with detective, Ms. Harper, "So Ms. Y/l/n when and where was the last time you saw her?" she asked, holding her pen and a pieces of paper, "last week on Tuesday night at 7 something, she ran out my house", "why? Did you got in a fight or", "no" I was quite embarrassed to say but I said it anyways "we kissed and we both shocked she keep saying we shouldn't be doing this and it's wrong", "then she ran out of your house?" She wrote something on her paper, "yes"I nodded, "did you tried to stop her or maybe follow her?" She asked, "no I couldn't move or even say a word, I was shocked" I looked at her, I can say she doesn't buy it but it's true, "how long have guys met?", "3-4 days when I first got the job", "so are you two together?", "we are about to but I told you she ran away after we kissed", "is that the first time you two kissed?", "no we've been to a bar the day I first met her, we were quite drunk so maybe she forgot it" I said still looking at her, "have you try texting her?" "Yes a lot and this is the last text she send to me" I showed her the text, luckily she didn't read it out loud but she did took a picture of it.

"Now are we done here? I'm very tired I'd like to go home now" I said, "yes you're free to go".

We walked out and Mina was waiting for me in her car, the guard opened the door for me and I went in.

"Hello, love" She said, "Hi I'm tired Mina, I want to go home" I put my head on her shoulder, "of course, sweetheart".

It's was a very quick ride, it's 11:26am I'm on the bed under the blanket, Mina decided to stay home with me.

She called for the maid to bring us lunch in bed, "can you tell me what did they asked you?" She laid down next to me, we're facing each other, "they asked about when and where like, have we kiss, and the last time I saw her", "did you show them the text?" "yes", I wanted to laugh but I've got no energy in me, "Mina, I'm really tired" I moved closer to her and he wrapped her arms around me and her hand went caress my head, "close your eyes, baby" she whispered. I fall asleep in her embrace.
