Which crime is more serious, shoplifting or bullying?
When the composition of one against many was established, it seemed that the one antagonist who did not belong to the group, the target of the attack, herself, increased the cohesion of the many opposing groups. I sensed something universal in these strange human movements. The power that moved them was something inherent in human nature. That power cloud our judgement of right and wrong.
I hated the pupils at the main players of the bullying, but I also sensed that they had something in their background that made them want to attack someone else. However, I often felt a sense of helplessness when I thought of the many pupils who sympathised with the main players of the bullying, and those who were not involved in the bullying at all. Had they ever experienced any kind of bloody conflict or suffering? The thought "Why only me?" often ran through my mind as a secondary school student. As the bullying stopped and time passed, I decided to put a lid on these thoughts.
