I don't really like this picture. I am unfortunately not photogenic and I think my expressions always look weird in pictures but oh well this I at least thought was the best out of the 2 I took.
Also I will be publishing a sneak peek of one of my books tomorrow. I'm sorry I know I said I was gonna do it today but I've been working on an English assignment all afternoon. It's supposed to be a short story then I record it and I'm working with a partner but she hasn't been able to work on it this afternoon till like 9 tonight which was fine. We planned to stay up tonight to work on it anyways but then when we finally started working my keyboard on my school iPad kept glitching and not letting me type anything and I didn't know what was going on.
I tried everything to fix it and nothing was working then a few minutes later it kicked me and her off our shared Google doc that we were typing everything on and then on our home screens all of our apps (that we can only download from a select list created and monitored by the school by the way) had all disappeared!
Turns out someone locked both of our iPads up remotely so now we can't do anything at all. And the worst bit is this assignment is due tomorrow and we only have like 5 paragraphs plus lots of ideas and plans that have yet to be written 😑 and it really made me mad bc 1. We weren't doing anything illegal or against the rules. We were literally just typing on a Google doc. That's it. And 2. WHO THE FREAKING HECK IS AWAKE AND UP AT THE SCHOOL TO BE ABLE TO LOCK TWO RULE ABIDING STUDENTS IPADS UP?!?! AND I DONT EVEN KNOW WHEN IT WILL BE UNLOCKED AGAIN!!!! UGHHHH
So basically tomorrow if my iPad gets unlocked, every spare minute I get I'm gonna be typing at the speed of light trying to get this assignment done and so is my partner for this project. I think we might be able to pull it off if we spend every spare second on it...I think. Maybe. But uh yeah. If we don't finish we plan on explaining to our English teacher what happened and maybe she'll give us an extension or something cuz this was not our fault. And my English teacher is nice so I feel like our chances of her saying yes are leaning on the slightly optimistic side😅
So yeah that's what's currently happening. So I will get the sneak peak out tomorrow once this whole mess is taken care of! I can't wait to see y'all's reactions to it!
