"𝕯𝖆𝖉..." I and unnie run and hug him. He hugs both of us. Tears falling. Feeling each other's warmth after a long time, especially in this situation. He kisses our forehead. In the corner of my eye, I see everyone come out and Cheong-san closes the door. "Are you both okay?" he looks at us. "What took you so long? We have been waiting for you..." unnie asks while breaking the hug and looking at dad. "Dad, you are okay, right?" I look at him while tears are falling uncontrollably.

Dad lets out a sniff and looks around the other students, "And you kids, are you okay?" few nod their heads and hum in response. Dad stands in front of Cheong-san, "Mr Nam" Dad engulfs him in a protective hug. "Okay, Are you all able to run?" he asks after letting go of the hug with Cheong-san. Everyone says yes.

Dad then points at the mountain, "Okay, if you go straight through the tennis courts and pass the construction site, you'll hit the mountain. If you cross the mountain...and get to Yangdong-" Dad got cut off by the zombie's snarls. Dad runs towards the zombie "Dad no!" he lifts the zombie and throws it down and breaks its leg. "kids go!" he orders us to run.

We climb the steep hill towards the mountain, I hold hand dad's hand and run fast with Su-hyeok running beside me. We Finally reach the tennis court and we quickly rush inside. Hari shoots the arrows at the zombies but she got attacked by one of the zombies. Dad helps her to get rid of the zombie. Once all of us are in, he closes the gate. But, we are stuck on the tennis court with the zombies surrounding the court.

Due to all the force, on the gate, the zombies come inside. With the help of the baseball bat, I hit the zombies, preventing them from entering further. Then I see the emergency light stick flying and landing on the other side, drawing the zombies' attention. I grab Dad's hand, "dad come. Let's go." I say while pulling his hand. "Cheong-san, take On-Jo and On-Ji with you." "Dad, where are you going?" I try to run behind him but Cheong-san's grip stops me. "Su-hyeok! Hold On-Ji" I hear Cheong-san ordering him. Then I feel Su-hyeok grip my shoulder and on my hand pulling me. "Leave me! Dad! NO! Come back!" Instead of listening to our screams, he doesn't back off.

"DAD!" I push Su-hyeok and run towards dad and push the zombie with my bat. I pull dad with me to the gate, but he pushes me to the other side and closes the door. I shake the door. "Dad no..." unnie stands beside me. "why are you doing this?" I look at his hand, he got bitten. "Dad? You can't do this." I whisper. "On-Jo, On-Ji, look at me. Go and protect each other." We both look at him, unable to move an inch. "Run! go. GO!" "dad please, you have to come with us." I cry. "GO!" Due to his screams, all the zombies run and bite him more. "Dad!" I scream and shake the door open.

Su-hyeok, Wu-Jin, Hari and Cheong-san pull me and unnie towards the mountain. "Dad!" I struggle in Su-hyeok's grip. I can hear him crying.

We all run towards the construction site with zombies behind us. "Hurry!" Su-hyeok pulls me with him. We all enter the building but we got stopped by Nam-ra screaming no. We see zombies coming toward us from the left side. "Go upstairs. Go!" she orders us. We all rush to the next floor, once we reach the floor, "where do we go?" Dae-Su's voice echoes. Then we hear, "Come here!"

Dae-su puts a stool near the window and everyone climbs to the other side. I climb after the new girl. "Don't make any noise," Nam-ra says. I sit next to Su-hyeok crying my eyes out, with my hands on my mouth so that zombies won't come. Su-hyeok holds me close. "first I lost Hae-Yeong and now dad. Both of them right in front of my face." I mumble into his chest. I feel someone else hand stroke my back in comfort. "Just let it out" Hari unnie's voice rings. I hold Su-hyeok closer and sob in his chest.

After some time of crying, all my tears got dried up and I and Su-hyeok sit in the same position. I hear De-su and the new girl arguing but Wu-jin tells them to stop. The new girl still doesn't be quiet. "Will you all please be quiet," I tell them. Then Hari cuts the new girl. "On-Ji's and her sister's father, he saved all of our lives. I'll never forget what he did. None of us ever will. If many people remembered someone, that person is sure to go to heaven." Hari says it but more specifically to me and unnie.

Then Hari suggests that she and Mi-jin should find a spot to jump off. Mi-jin comes to our side, Su-hyeok slowly stands up without hurting me and suggests that he would go. But Mi-jin won and she went further making Su-hyeok sit back. I look in Hari's direction.

But unnie catches my eye. I stand up from my place and sit next to unnie. I put my hand on hers. "I hope no one steps up. Whatever ends up happening... I hope no one sacrifices themselves. It's too hard living for someone. When there's nothing you can do for them at all. It's like you have to live extra hard for them. It's too selfish. You can't die if you don't dare to live." unnie says. I can hear the sadness in her voice. I stroke her hand with my thumb in comfort. "And On-Ji, I know how stubborn you are, but I want you to live. Please listen to me for once. I can't afford to lose more people." I nod my head unable to respond to anything.

"Let's talk more later, okay? Tomorrow or the next day. Or maybe even next week. Let's eat, take a bath and then talk. We agreed to do that." Cheong-san reminds her. Once he removes his hand from her shoulder, I rest my head on the shoulder and hug her hand. Then Cheon-san reminds her of something which I don't understand and leaves unnie confused.

After a long time, Hari and Mi-jin come back and tell us they have seen. Then Cheong-san suggests that one should go to the roof and scream to attract the zombies while the others can escape. But unnie doesn't approve of the plan. I and Hyo-Ryung agree with unnie. We can't sacrifice more. Dae-su and Wu-jin follow up.

Mi-jin sits down and tells us to wait until it rains. We all look up. "it's way too clear." Dae-su sighs. "hear that?" Nam-ra says with a worried voice. "they're saying to take cover. There will be explosions." "Are you sure?" Nam-ra continues, "Hyosan Intersection, Future college, even our school will blow up."

"Hey, are those soldiers gonna shoot missiles?" Wu-jin questions. "when is it gonna happen?" Dae-su asks. "I really can't tell. They're just saying to evacuate right now." She adds. "Where are they expect us to go, huh?" Mi-jin curses.

"ON-JI, CHEONG-SAN!"
