Question of the day, is Frye a hybrid?
I think Frye is a hybrid because she has the same fingers like Marina and Shiver an they are both octolings. She also has similar eyes like octolings do.

If she actually is a hybrid I'll be shocked. Maybe there will be another expansion later on in splatoon 3 about a hybrid. I would be so happy if they did that but I seriously doubt it.
