Aakash left the building as soon as the meeting ended. I stood watching till his car left. Though he made a rash decision, he still was my boss. I felt bad for him.
"Thank you for not changing the employees Sir." I said to Mr.Arjun who is looking at me without blinking.
I was back in boss's cabin awaiting his instructions.
"Everyone's work is efficient here. I didn't feel the need to change anyone." He said shrugging. I just nodded.
"But you shouldn't have done what you did sir. That was a very harsh decision." I blurted before I could control.
His eyebrows shot up. His demeanor changed. He leaned forward placing his elbows on the table interconnecting his fingers he spoke with a stern face.
"Well Mythili, before you judge me for being a heartless person, he tried stealing my company's data. Indirectly playing with my company's reputation. Instead of putting him in jail, I took his company. I showed mercy on him if you think about it properly."
I pressed my lips together and nodded for what he said.
"Well coming back to the matters at hand, I fired my PA today. You will be my PA from today onwards and working in the head office, that is FIA with me." He said.
I was too shocked to reply. Wow.! That's a dream come true.
"And about Bottled Heaven, we need some one to manage here. The employees from other branches are too busy and occupied to shift here. So shall we hire a new candidate or is there anyone here who is capable of managing the company?" He asked my suggestion. There comes the another shock..!
ARJUN :
Yea I asked for her opinion. She seemed good at her job and cares for the company. Definitely she knows who is best for the post.
She seemed too shocked to respond and is gaping at me.
I snapped my fingers "Hello you still with me?"
"Umm yea, There's a person I think will be suitable to look after this branch." She said coming out of her shock.
"He works in production department. His name is Ayush. He joined our company two years back. But I think he is capable of being the managing director."
"Aren't there any seniors or more experienced candidates? He seems like a fresher." I asked frowning.
"There are Sir. But I feel capabilities doesn't have to be decided with experience." She said with the same confidence I began to like.
"Hmm, let's go check this candidate then." I said getting up.
Nodding she followed me.
We were in the elevator when she spoke again.
"Sir if you don't mind me asking, won't you discuss with the share holders about this position filling. They are already very angry because of what Aakash did."
"No. I don't think so. I know about the share holders here. Everyone is power hungry. I want the company to grow, so definitely not them."
We reached the production department that's on 20th floor. There was a single person in a room seriously engrossed in something.
Many leaves, flowers, barks what not were spread around him.
He was trying to create a new perfume with complete natural products. After speaking to him for some more time, I felt Mythili was correct.

"As you might have heard, there is a product launch in two months. There are few things that needs to be sorted out for this launch." I said to Mythili.
We were returning back to my office in my car. She is sitting next to me in the back seat while my driver Vijay drove the car.
The soothing fragrance invading my senses, the way she is moving her long hair from one shoulder to another, the way she is tapping the pen in her fingers, the way she is speaking., everything's so mesmerizing.
I have seen many beautiful women in my life. But never was I enchanted by anyone.
This woman is making it difficult for me to concentrate on what I have to say.
Taking deep breath, I continued,
"There will be an event for the product launch. We need to finalize a date for the event. Event should be grand. I want the best event organisers to work on this one. Importantly, I need a name for the product. I want the creative department from the BH also to work on this." I said.
We reached our office and she walked next to me taking the notes.
She chuckled listening to what I said.
Clicking the top most floor button in the elevator, that is 40, I turned to her.
"Is there something you find funny?" I asked sternly.
"Sorry sir. I didn't mean to offend you. But I remembered something that I felt a little related to this situation." She said with a small smile on her face. I raised my eyebrow for further explanation.
She sighed "There was this movie. It was a very good one. The entire movie was ready. Edited and done, ready for its release, but the name for it was not finalized. They had to postpone the movie release for a month because of that. It's like same, except here is perfume." She said chuckling.
She is a movie buff.! I also found the situation amusing. And damn I hate to admit it, I also liked spending time with her.
I chuckled "Yea feels the same. Anyways think of the names. Take a list of the names and we will finalise one." I said as we walked to my cabin.
Sitting on my chair I said
"Send a confirmation mail for Ayush saying he was promoted. Inform the creative team in BH about the name for the perfume. Also follow up with creative team of FIA."
