ARJUN:
We rushed Mythili to Rohan's hospital. Aakash was being arrested, Ajay and Vaibhav were taking care of the formalities while our other friends followed us.
All were shaken by the turn of events, one minute we were all laughing, talking and enjoying the party and the next minute we are in hospital waiting for Rohan to say something.
He is checking Mythili while I waited outside, pacing infront of the room.
"She fainted because of shock. I took some blood samples since you said she wasn't feeling well from few days." Rohan said. "It will take sometime to get the results. You can see her. Nothing to worry." He said patting my shoulder.
Mythi was laying on the bed still unconscious. I went to her and took her hand in mine. Anger rose in me seeing her hands. There were finger marks on her wrists. It felt like they were mocking me, telling that I couldn't take care of my wife.
I couldn't contain my frustration and threw the glass jar that's on the side table to the wall.
Mythili woke up with a gasp to the sound of the shattering glass. Our friends barged into the room hearing the commotion.
I rushed to her and hugged her. "I am sorry, I am sorry I didn't mean to startle you. I am so sorry." I apologised repeatedly trying to calm her down.
"Am fine Arjun. You are with me. Nothing will happen to me. Stop apologizing." She said breaking the hug.
I felt guilty. How can she forgive me? If I wasn't careless, she wouldn't have been here. Before I could react, Rohan came into the room.
"Congratulations my dear love birds, you guys are pregnant." Rohan said. Our friends who are in the room with us shouted happy to hear the news.
"What?!" We both said shocked.
"Yes, you are 8 weeks pregnant Mythi. That's the reason for your dizziness and tiredness from the last few days." Rohan repeated again.
MYTHILI:
A smile broke on our faces after our initial shock. "I love you so much. Thanks for making me the happiest man alive love." Arjun said kissing me.
Just then Ajay and Vaibhav entered the room "what's happening?!" Vaibhav asked bewildered to see all the happy faces quite opposite to the situation that was moments ago.
"We are going to be uncles, again" Abhi said happily.
"What?! Damn, congrats man!" Ajay came to Arjun and gave a manly hug. We were surrounded by our friends hugging and congratulating us.
"You know Sudha right? One of my friends from dad's circle? She is a very good gynec. She works in this hospital only. I will tell her that you guys will visit her." Rohan said to Arjun after everyone got settled down.
"Let me check you once before you get discharged." He said taking his stethoscope and walked to me.
"Everything looks fine. All you need is proper rest sunshine, then you will be alright." He said patting my head.

We reached our home and currently I am in our bathroom trying to wash off today's events. As the adrenaline rush from the happy news subsided, my initial feelings of grief returned.
It felt like caterpillars and cockroaches were crawling on my skin. It's becoming hard to forget that creeps touch all over my body.
Tears won't stop flowing while I tried to scrub off the feeling from my skin.
"Love? Are you ok?" Arjun's concerned voice can be heard from outside. Not getting any reply from me he opened the bathroom door and walked to me.
"Baby, stop it. You are hurting yourself." He said holding my hands stopping me from scrubbing. "I feel violated Arjun. Do something. Stop this feeling." I cried holding his shirt collar. He cupped my face and kissed me.
"I will." He said and took a towel from the cabinet. Drying my skin he carried me to our bed and made me lay down.
He started kissing me taking his time, made love to me multiple times, making me forget that creep's touch.

I woke up to someone kissing me. I opened my eyes to see Arjun's love filled gaze on me. "Good morning love." He said kissing my forehead. "How are you both today?" He asked placing a hand on my baby bump.
Now that we got to know that I am pregnant, I could see the changes that happened in my body clearly. There's a small baby bump, I had gained weight, my apatite has increased. But I haven't noticed any of these.
I was so happy and immersed in our lives all these days, that I couldn't realise, I missed two periods continuously.
I turned to him still wrapped in his arms "we both are fine" I said smiling. "Good. I brought breakfast." He said sitting up, and placed a tray infront of me.
"Do you want to tell our parents about the news today?" He asked after sometime. "No, first I want to tell Kittu. I just hope he will be happy." I said.
"What if he feels neglected? After baby's birth we will be busy with the new born. What if he feels like we are neglecting him." I asked panicked.
"Calm down love. He is a smart kid. He will understand. First we will tell him. Ok?" Arjun said cupping my face.

"Kittu come here" I said patting the space next to me. Mom has dropped kittu sometime back. Keeping the toys on the floor he came and sat next to me. I turned to him, while Arjun kneeled infront of us.
"What do you think of having a sibling?" Arjun asked. "Sibling?" Kittu asked surprised.
"Yes! A baby brother or a baby sister to play with?" I said.
"Really? I get to play with my own brother or sister?"
"Yes champ! You can have your own brother or sister. You get to play with them and to protect them from dangers." Arjun said.
"I would love to have them. Where are they? When are they coming." He asked getting excited.
"They are here buddy. They will come in few months." Arjun said placing a hand on my stomach. "How did they go there? You ate them?!" He asked horrified.
We laughed seeing his expressions. "No love, god put them here." I said chuckling. "Ho!" He said and then he squealed "yay. I am getting a baby brother or sister. I am going to be a big brother." He shouted jumping up and down with excitement.
All the tension I was feeling was relieved seeing his happy face.
"I told you he will be happy" Arjun said kissing me. "I love you so much Mythi" he said cupping my face. "I love you too Arjun." I whispered.
