Mission of the Black Citadel (part 2)

My POV:

After Caramel Arrow made her promise, Gingerbrave explained to her what we were delivering to Dark Cacao Cookie and told her about the Hollyberry and Vanilla Kingdom's rise. She gasped and said, "Are you certain that the allies of the Black Citadel has risen...? Then there is hope after all!" Custard, liking what she said, remarked, " That's the spirit! Any king would love to have a servant as loyal as you!" Gingerbrave than declared that they will go together and talk to Dark Cacao Cookie himself.

Caramel Arrow's POV:

As my new comrades and I set off, we passed by the Altar of the Fallen. The one known as "Gingerbrave" said that it was a very large slab of chocolate. I explained, "This is the Altar of the Fallen. Having you name enscribed here is one of the greatest honors for a Dark Cacao warrior like me. Not a single speck of dust or grime is here... it's good to see that this place is still held high in regard." I asked, "With your permission, may I place an incense stick here to honor the fallen?" Gingerbrave allowed me to and I knelt in front of the Altar and prayed, "My friends, my family, ever keeping watch upon the Great Wall and mountains, it is I, Caramel Arrow Cookie. Please, aid me in my effort to greet our king once more." After that, I led them to the kingdom.

My POV:

When we arrived at the gates, Caramel Arrow looked shocked to find out that the gates of the Kingdom were barred shut. Horrified, she said, "The gates have been barred shut?! But this means no one is able to enter or leave!" She then shouted, "Hear me! Is anyone on duty? Open the gates!" Then, the very same gatekeeper who turned away the young snow cookie, came out of the gates and was about to tell us to leave when he saw Caramel Arrow. In shock, he exclaimed, "Caramel Arrow Cookie? But weren't you banished?! It's good to see you my friend, but you have no right to be here!" Caramel Arrow replied, "I go where I please. I do not intend to enter the kingdom though. I came because I had to escort these travellers to the kingdom. They have an important message for King Dark Cacao Cookie and the allies of the Black Citadel are rising once more. Please, you must help them. I will leave if you agree." Upon hearing this, the gatekeeper nodded and told the other gatekeeper to keep watch as he decided to come along with us to protect us. At that moment, I remembered that the Cookies of Darkness should be snooping around the kingdom by now. I said, "Guys, heads up, the Cookies of Darkness are here, they are looking for the soul jam of Dark Cacao and are going to try and turn Affogato to their side and they will suceed if we don't stop them." They all turned to stare at me. I just stared back and told them to trust me. Thus, we began to search for Affogato as we knew he could also lead us to the King.

Meanwhile...

Dark Choco's POV:

I felt guilt after destroying another part of my kingdom, the Licorice Village, I tried not to feel guilty but could not help it. This was supposed to be my kingdom, which I swore to protect. Licorice remarked, "It was a shabby place to begin with, now it's completely in ruins..." we then continued our journey to my former kingdom. It was my home no more as I was banished, however, it was still my homeland nonetheless. "Dark Choco Cookie. I trust that you will lead us to the castle in one piece?" said Pomegranate Cookie. I nodded in response and took them to one of the castle's many secret entrances and passageways to lead them in and take my father's Soul Jam. It was all part of Dark Enchantress Cookie's plan to reshape the world.

My POV:

We soon found Affogato, although Caramel Arrow had to leave because she was banished (I hate you, Fishgato), and he was muttering to himself about taking over the kingdom. Of course every single Dark Cacaoian warrior had trained hearing but the gatekeeper still looked shocked that Affogato, out of ALL cookies, was planning to betray the King. We put him somewhere (of course it's the dungeon) and gave him a full-time team of guards to make sure the Cookies of Darkness could not get to him. At the same time, I thought of the huge Dark Cacao monster thing (I really need a name for it) and wanted to prevent that. So, I took off from the group to try and prevent that from happening, find the Cookies of Darkness and try to defeat Dark Enchantress. I knew can't do it alone, (I'm still waiting for the Golden Cheese update to help with this book for ideas)so I decided to help the team from the inside by collecting information on what the group was planning so Gingerbrave and the squad could be ready from anything. I sent a magical message to Wizard Cookie to inform him of my plan.

Gingerbrave's POV:

We were worried about Cream Cookie. She had just suddenly left us all of a sudden and we did not want her to get caught by the Cookies of Darkness. At that moment, Wizard Cookie shouted, "I have a message from Cream Cookie!" We immediately rushed over and saw an illusion of Cream Cookie in a midst of turquoise sparkles. The illusion said, "Gingerbrave and company, I hope you get this message. I'm planning to spy on the Cookies of Darkness from the inside of their organisation so that I can help you guys in the fight against Dark Enchantress. I will message you guys every week to help and you all must find the other ancients while I'm gone. Please, stay safe." And Cream Cookie's illusion disappeared in a whirl of sparks. I felt worried about her because I I knew that she could be in danger with them, but remembering that she was excellent at defending herself. I knew that she would no- will be fine. The entire team had saw her in battle, and witnessed her ability to detect weaknesses extremely well. It was safe to say that she will be fine.

My POV:

I really hoped that Wizard got my message and told the others about it. I didn't want to worry them about what I was planning. I thought about home again and knew everyone would be worried sick about me. But then again, my siblings and cousins wouldn't be that worried. I was different from them and they all detested me like I was a mosquito, so I decided to concentrate on finding the Cookies of Darkness instead.

I soon spotted a group of four figures in the distance. One was purple and looked like a mushroom, one looked like an emo dude that was dressed in rags, one looked like a pomegranate but in cookie form and the last looked like another emo dude but better dressed than the one in rags. I knew I was looking at the Cookies of Darkness the moment I saw them. (more like the Cookies of Failure because their plans always fail).

I pretended to wander around to catch their attention. The plan succeeded and they raced over to me. In front of me, Licorice asked, "Uh, Pomegranate, are you sure she is the one Master wants?" Pomegranate replied, "Yes, this cookie, fits the description that Master gave us: Light brown hair, green eyes, wears a green scarf and a blue jacket." I was startled by them, Dark Enchantress Cookie wanted to find me?! I began to sprint away from them. However, it was of no use, Dark Choco Cookie had caught up to me and pinned me to the ground. Pomegranate said, "It is no use running away from us, when our Master, Dark Enchantress Cookie, wants something, she will always have it." "Pomegranate?" asked Licorice, "Dark Enchantress only said that we need her and if we take her and not destroy the Kingdom, it will be fine, right?" Pomegranate confirmed it and told them that Dark Enchantress had said it herself that the power that she needed to take over and dominate Earthbread was in me and it would be of no matter to waste effort when they could do it later. She then ordered Poison Mushroom to give me a shroomie so that I could be knocked out to be taken to their base. They did so and I felt so sleepy, I could not stay awake anymore. The last thing I saw, was the snowflakes in the Dark Cacao Kingdom dancing across the endless chocolate wall before I blacked out.

Hi guys! School just started and I can only post on weekends now. I'm doing my best to finish this so that you all can read it and not wait for this to be finished and yes, the cliffhanger was there on purpose so that y'all can anticipate some serious drama or something to enjoy. Anyway, I hope you are enjoying this so far, and if I need something to improve on here, please inform me of it. Thanks!
