Thomas stared at Airys suspiciously.

Thinking why and how did his Gramma talked to her that way.

It's like Gramma was not being Gramma at all.

"Wow." Airys marveled, walking her way to the living room

Thomas followed behind
"How did you ladies meet?"

Airys flopped down on the couch,
"We met here in this floor, one morning while I was cleaning. I saw her struggling with her things so I helped her out. Then I accompanied her in the elevator. And FYI, her luggages were freaking heavy."

Thomas sat beside her,
"And?"

"We just talked all the way down and when we reached the lobby, Sophie approached us." She continued

He nodded,
"What did you two talked about?"

She pursed her lips before replying,
"Hmm family and stuff. She asked me why I was working here."

He chuckled,
"Of course. Gramma instantly liked you for being a family person."

She faced him,
"Really? She already likes me? That's nice."

He leaned his back on the couch,
"Honestly, she's not always that nice. I'm even surprised she lets you call her Gramma."

Her eyes squinted,
"What do you mean?"

He crossed his arms,
"Gramma is the scariest person in my family."

A laugh escaped her mouth,
"Seriously? She doesn't look like it. To me, she looks like a warm and sweet old lady."

He shook his head,
"You see her that way cuz that's what she shows you. Plus, the fact that she likes you. Believe me, she's not only how you described her."

Raised her hands in retreat,
"Fine fine. I'll believe you. But wait, when you said that your Gramma is the 'scariest', does that mean there're other scary people in your family?"

He glanced at her, waiting for her to say she was merely joking.

Unfortunately, she wasn't.

She was pretty serious.

She was waiting for an answer.

He pursed his lips into a slight frown, (see chapter gif)
"Well, other people see them that way. I don't know if you'll do."

She gave him a questioning face,
"I don't recall reading that one about your family. I'm pretty sure they're as lovely as your Gramma."

He smiled and faced the glass window,
"You're right. Although, there's one person who you might find scary in my family and it's precisely my sister."

She thought for a moment and gazed forward the glass window,
"Your younger sister? Yeah, younger sisters often acts like they're the eldest ones."

"While the eldest acts like the youngest?" He added

She giggled,
"Not always tho. My sister is the childish one and bloody annoying."

He nodded,
"Agree. My sister likes to annoy me every time I'm with Natasha. She usually barges into my room and also calls my phone or chats me continuously. Privacy isn't her thing, you know."

She leaned back,
"Maybe she has her reasons like my sister. She also interrupts me whenever I'm in a call with a boy. She always asks who's the guy I'm talking with."
