The news about Cielo and that man in a relationship did not let me sleep. All night, I was aching to that something I never had and would never be having. And now more than ever, mas kailangan naming lumayo ni Warrion sa lalaking ‘yon.

God knew I had been meaning to.

I thought of cooking that man some breakfast, pambawi roon sa pagpapatulog niya sa aming dalawa ni Warrion dito sa condo niya bago kami umalis. I honestly still did not know where to go, pero bahala na.

Tahimik ang buong unit niya nang lumabas ako ng guest room, not a sign of him anywhere. Siguro ay tulog pa siya. Maaga pa naman. So, I went to my business and quietly and carefully worked in his sleek and very high-tech kitchen. However, I noticed that he was so neat and organized. Two traits that I really, really liked about in a person—

I shook my head and forced to forget about this ridiculous feeling I had for him. And again, I would never hurt Cielo. Would never betray her. I did not have the heart to do that to her. Whatever or whoever was making her happy, I would one hundred percent support her.

Even if it would cost me my own happiness.

Even if it would break my heart into tiny, million pieces.

I cooked typical breakfast. I was at the time flipping the last french toast, my mind floating somewhere when I suddenly froze on the spot.

“What are you doing?” That guy, Warren Gideon Arespacochaga, asked.

When I tried to inhale air because he was literally taking my breaths away, he smelled of sweat, wood, and mint. And he seemed just came from a morning workout, kasi ay humihingal pa siya, basang-basa ng pawis. His hot, rugged breathings were brushing my nape, sending goosebumps all over my body. His sweat wasn’t a disgusting smell. To be honest, he smelled so manly and divine—Stop it, Astacia!

“I, ah, I thought of cooking you breakfast. I hope you don’t mind,” sabi ko, muntik pang mautal. But whose girl in her right mind wouldn’t lose her tongue when a man like him would hold you in the waist while his body was deliciously so close to you?

“Nah, it’s okay. Hmm, that smells so good,” he said and moaned in my ears while pressing more into me, his long fingers spreading out in my waist and leaning down his head a little closer to the pan, making my grip on the spatula to tighten on the other hand.
