Uhh... Fight scenes. how weird.
So, This request was from Sansation_Guy. Sorry for being 4 months late lmao.
There probably is a lot, but also not a lot you need on fight scenes. It's very variable, dependent on weapons, fighting styles, etc.
Sooooooo.
1. Find many words to emphasize attacks. Zoomed, launched, staggered, leaped, blasted, dragged, etc, are all words which can be used within fight scenes. They can also be useful for those as well.
2. Watch your favourite fight scenes. Take inspiration of how the characters move when attacking.
3. Take note of a character's fighting style. Do they focus more on agility and landing as many blows in one second? Do they take hits from faster opponents until they gain an opening? Do they rely on their powers? Do they just blast?
4. For a truly tense fight, you must make character hit, hurt, injure, etc each other, as well as see how their fighting styles combat each other. If you need inspiration, just look at death battle or something, idk.
5. How their attitudes are brought into battle. Sonic, when attacking badnicks would perform tricks after landing a hit, showing his more free will and cocky nature. Gojo toys with his opponents since he's the strongest (At least in episode 5), etc.
And...
that's it I think!
