I finally pull away from the hug. He looks at me. Eye to eye.
Tom- "Y/n, you know I'll be back, right? It's only for a few da-"
Y/n- "Yeah...I know, Tom. I just thought we'd finally have some time together, you know? Like the..." Yoy pause and look down at your feet. "Like the old times?"
Tom- "And it will be, y/n!- Just, give me a few days. And when I come back, we can do whatever you want together."
Your thoughts quickly thought of something...
ew. You laugh to yourself. No.
Tom- "You like water parks, right? Theme parks too?"
Y/n- "Y- Oh, Ehm. Yeah, heh. Yes...I-I do."
He gives me a bit of a 'you crazy?' Look. But I just ignore it.
Tom- "Yeah? Hah. A theme park..."
You guys both sit down on the blanket you had laid down.
Y/n- "But...Tom...Isn't it a bit...difficult? Just to go to a theme park? Like...you aren't famous at all?"
Tom- "Doesn't mean I can't go?"
Y/n- "I know, but..." I pause. "Paparazzi will be everywhere. And people will be asking for photos and-"
Tom- "I know, y/n...But doesn't mean I have to take a photo with everyone, you know? That day will be mine and your day. We can do whatever we want with each other okay?"
My mind went back to a place it shouldn't be. Shut up, y/n. No. He's my best friend....gross...
Tom- "Would you like to head back to my place, now? It's getting pretty dark"
Y/n- "Yeah, sure."
I roll up the blanket and we both get into my car. Tom chose to drive.
