A few days later

You get to the fire house and walk inside and past the squad table
" Hey guys " you say walking past then in to the lockers, you smile at the pictures you have up on it some from the military and some for 51

Then you hear someone come in
" hey you having breakfast " Casey asks and you smile at him
" no I eat " He smiles back before leaving

You walk out to the bunkroom and you start reading a book then you guys get a call

Truck 81, squad 3
Rope rescue

You jump up quickly and run out the door to squad, you get in and soon after you all left

You get there and you see it's a warehouse or something and there was a kid maybe 6 up on the roof,
You all get out quickly and go the Boden " You have to send someone up for a rope sescue " He looks at you
" the lighter the better " He says looking back at severide Then he nods
" Ava you're going up " He says looking at you " alone " Boden then says and you nod before getting all the ropes and heading up on the ladder on the truck

You get up on the roof and see the kid a little far down, you get all straped in then started going down the side of the roof, You were kind of nervous going down then you get to the kid who was scared " hey, hey you ok " You say quickly grabbing him but then he starts moving and shaking in your hands " hey, you have to come down" You say trying to think of something to say " who's your favourite superhero " you says and he looks up at you " spider man " He says softly " that's a good one, do you 2ant to know mine " you ask and he nods lightly " you see all those people down there " you nod to everyone watching
And he looks down a bit " all of them are superheroes, but my favourite is them " you say pointing to severide and the rest " they all do things like this all time" You smile " especially him " you point to severide who was looking up " He does this lots " You smile " ok can we stay brave for a few minutes while we get you down " You ask and he nods

You work your way down slowly then you finally get down then the lutenents and cheif " nice work " both boden and casay both say " next time hold the rope tighter so you don't shake ad much, you could of got hurt" He says and that made you mad
" can you ever just complete me instead of saying the did things I did wrong " You say before brushing past him to sit on squad,

You boy then walks up to severide
" are you a super hero " He asks
" yeah I am, but who told you that " He says smiling back then the boy nods at you sitting on the side step of t squad talking to capp and tony then he runs off

Severide looks back at you laughing then we all leave,

You get to the fire house and you go straight to the squad table and sit down going straight on your phone and sit back

" super hero really " severide says walking up, you look up from your phone " yeah sorry I was trying to calm him down " You smile softly not wanting to fight " no it's fine " He sits on his chair " You know I'm only hard on you because you have potential" He says " oh yeah " You ask and he nods " that's fine but I do know what I'm doing  " you say back and he nods again

You were still sitting at the table when cheif comes out " ava can I talk to you it's kinda important " He says and you nod walk ofter him and he goes to his office " close the door" he says before sitting down, you nod closing the door
" so Hank Voights unit is coming " your eyes widen " why" you ask sitting down, he sighs " the little boy today, they think he was from a kidnapping " You nod slowly looking down " You can stay in the bonk room, they shouldn't be long " He says and you nod and start to walk out but turn around again " thank you for everything " You smile before walking out straight to the bonk room

You stay there then you guys get a call

House fire

You get up quickly but pause when you get to the door but with out thinking you run out quickly not stopping intill you get to squad and get in quickly, you all start driving but as you get out of the fire house you can see a few people wearing dark colours then you notice it's the detectives, you then see jay, you smile to yourself then Tony pull out

" so you think it's a big one " You ask
" yeah maybe " severide says from the front and you nod, a few minutes later You guys pull up to a hotel with smoke coming out of a few windows

You all get out quickly and cheif walks up to the manager " what happened " He says " I......i don't know, the 6th.. floor just dropped and the fire started.." He says obviously nervous and scared

You walk up to him" hey we'll go in and check it, you just worry about yourself " you smile at him bring him to the paramedics then running back over to the rest

" squad, truck get in there do a quick swep, shouldn't be more the 8 people " cheif says and you all put our masks on and run inside, you all start going up the stairs, squad going to the 6th floor and truck going to the 5th

You all run up and you open the 6th floor door, when you walk in to the corridor you get hit with smoke and dust, you can see small and bigger holes in the floor " hey be careful " He screams as you walk in further
" just a quick look around " severide says and looks back and all you guys nod then walk in further

You guys look in all the rooms not finding anyone, well anyone alive
Then you guys were getting to the last few rooms, you were getting in to the last room severide in front of you but you see a small crack, you quickly grab severides shoulder pulling him back then the floor Falls through.

You close your eyes as you hear in fall then look down at severide on the floor " you good " You smile at him
" yeah.. yeah thanks " He gets up and you nod at him " let's get out of here" He says then we walk slowly making sure not to step on a crack then you get to the stairs severide call on his radio " Casey do you need help on 5" He says ad you guys walk down
" no we're good, bring the last victim out" He says then severide nods for us to go down

You get out of the hotel and you take off your mask quickly then cheif comes up to you guys " you all ok " he asks and you look at severide
" yeah we're all good " severide says
" much damage " He asks again
" yeah quite a bit " cruz answers
Cheif then nods and walks away

Casey trows you all a water
" hey thanks for that " severide says
" yeah, that's what I'm for and who knows maybe you'll save me next " You say then walk to squad then you guys leave soon after
