Joonggil's pov

Tomorrow's the operation..... I just hope everything goes well

He prayed as his tears started to fall. No one could tell how much anxious he is for the past few days..... Unless it's Ryeon, only she can tell. Even though she doesn't remember her previous life yet the details about him comes to her naturally

Next Day

His mom was gonna go in for the operation now so he for the last time told her not to worry too much even though he was worrying more than anyone

As of now the operation finally started
and his hands were cold and shivering, he was getting chills untill...

A warm & soft hand could be felt under his big palms, he turned back as fast flash to look at that hand's owner and he found his soul instead

So he hold her hands more tightly to never let her go .

?? : The operation started right ?

Joonggil : *nods* Ryeon-ah , I-Im scared of the outcome

Ryeon : don't be , I know the operation will be successful so don't worry

Joonggil : but-

Ryeon : you don't trust me??

*She said almost pouting*

Joonggil : Nooo I trust you more than you know it's only you that I trust but I can't help with the anxiety in my heart

Joonggil was still holding onto her hand tightly but her another hand was free so she used it to place it on his chest right above his heart, she could feel his heartbeat

Ryeon : close your eyes and take a deep
breath now listen

"What if you're worrying for no reason?? What if she turns out to be fine but you become worse, unwell??
You love your mom right so be brave for her cause you've got to be there to see your mom when the operation is done . What if she wants to see you but she got to know that you're also admitted in another hospital bed she's gonna blame her for the rest of the life right so be well and be brave for her"

Worrying is fine but your doing it way too much at this point you will get panic attack again
So let's wait for the outcome together

After hearing her try to calm him down, he totally became calm his breathing was steady now she could feel it now , how strange?? She could just tell his heart's state just by touching him slightly , she could tell if he was unwell just by looking . She was going to pull her hand back but Joonggil put his hand above her so that she can't put it back . He wanted to feel more , more of her touch , more of this moment, more of this pleasing symphony which he was sure knew that it's called Love

Joonggil now grabbing her armpit brought them close to each other even more and he hugged her tightly , his one hand at the back of her head keeping it from moving and another at her back , his chin was placed at the top of her head . He was beyond happy that she hugged him back . She didn't know why but she felt like she couldn't let him go . At this point letting go of her from his arms was very difficult

Joonggil : thank you Ryeon-ah for bringing me back to my senses and yeah let's wait for it together
