Kazutora smiles upon waking up today, he checked the small clock that's placed on the nightstand beside the bed and grabbed his phone

He turns it on and his smile grew wider when he saw the notification of his calendar on the screen

He sat up in a hurry almost tripping on himself when his feet got caught in the blanket, he curses and places his phone on the bed before going to the bathroom to take a shower

After his shower, he changed into his clothes for the day and went downstairs, Chifuyu was sitting on the dining table with a coffee in hand, a bunch of papers were in front of him on the table while he was twirling a pen on his other hand

"Morning, Tora"Chifuyu greets upon noticing him with a smile

"Mornin, Fuyu"Kazutora smiles back and makes his way towards the kitchen to make himself some coffee

"You seem happier than usual today, is there something I should know?"Chifuyu asked with an eyebrow raised looking at him

Kazutora nervously shakes his head before meeting his gaze

"No, I was just excited to meet a friend today"Kazutora lied with a smile

"Ohh.. Goodluck with that then"Chifuyu smiles as Kazutora walks towards him and sits beside him

Kazutora slightly frowns when he realized the smile that Chifuyu gave was somewhat off and maybe sad, he'll just have to make sure Chifuyu's gonna have a great time today once he invites him out

"I will, thanks"he nods and looks at the papers scattered on the table"Pet shop?"he asked looking at Chifuyu who nods

"Hanma's been telling me about the stocks lately so I decided to increase our stocks a little, he also told me of a certain black cat visiting from time to time"Chifuyu smile while giving him a knowing look

"Peke J? I'm surprised your past self doesn't realize he's been leaving the house for more than three hours"Kazutora replied in surprise

Chifuyu often told him how his life was with Peke J when he got introduced to the cat, who was mostly in the pet shop when Chifuyu was not coming home often, since he mostly goes straight to the pet shop to manage it by himself after taking care of matters in toman

He was not fond of animals, specially with dogs since he was attacked by one when he was a kid, he didn't always held a grudge against them but after that incident, he never really thought of owning or even taking care of them until Chifuyu became a part of his life and introduced him to the pet shop
