Summoning Ritual

Tonight, five teens sit in a dark classroom surrounding a table with candles and a board before them. 

Y/n crosses her arms and sighs. "Why am I here again?"

"Tonight," Akane starts, ignoring her question and pushing his glasses up. "All of us will participate in the best, most awesome game of Kokkuri." He finishes with a dark look.

Everyone stares at him with an uneasy look, calm look, and annoyed look.

"Really?" The (eye) eyed girl asks. "This is why I'm here? C'mon guys." She shakes her head. If you summon a giant-ass supernatural, you can bet on me not helping out.

Yashiro picks the piece of paper holding "YES" and "NO" along with the alphabet. "Akane, I didn't know you were into the occult?"

"I don't. I have zero interest." He replies, about to go on before a certain female cuts him off. "Lemme guess, Princess fruit loops showed interest in it, so you got into it so now you feel in a way this could bring you closer somehow?" Y/n tilts her head, pointing a finger to Aoi.

"You're spot on, Zero! I also mixed my blood into the ink on that sheet of paper."

Y/n and Yashiro deadpan, Yashiro's face falling. "What."

The four place two fingers to the piece, Y/n backing away. "No. I'm not doing this, only here to watch."

They shrug, Akane rolling his eyes. "You wimp."

"Excuse me you overgrown orange?"

"I didn't stutter, did I? Anyway," He clears his throat, placing down 10 yen. "Oh, dear Kokkuri, please come out!"

Yashiro anxiously stares down at the paper. Will we be okay? Will Kokkuri actually show up and answer our questions for only 10 yen...? Well, I guess we're doing it properly. Even added blood... But what if a ghost comes to kidnap us? She looks at her best friend, who's sharing a bag of candy with the Mokke while silently watching. Could she save--- Her thought's cut off by a clack noise.

"Here it is!" Akane exclaims happily.

Then, a Mokke appears out of no where. Y/n giggles. 

"So, our first question is..." Lemon starts. "What will the weather be like tomorrow?"

The Mokke uses its ears, forming "Rain" as in candy. Everyone besides the two who can't see what's happening starts to freak.

It definitely meant candy... Yashiro sweatdrops.

"O-Okay!! How about this? Who do I have a crush on?!" Akane asks while blushing.

The Mokke starts to write candy but sneezes, making the coin spell "LEMON". Everyone deadpans. "What." Lemon takes a picture while Y/n starts laughing. "I knew about the tree Akane, but damn!" She giggles. "Didn't know you like Lemonhead!"

"I DO NO---"

"Akane... I see..." Aoi mutters, Akane snapping his head toward her direction. "N-No! Ao, this... This is just a huge misunderstanding!" He pulls out his nail-covered bat, smacking Lemon, making two teens flinch. "I don't give a crap about this guy, see?!"

"AKANE! You're gonna kill him!" Both Y/n and Yashiro exclaim.

Aoi grabs her bag and swings it over her shoulder, heading out of the classroom. "May you find happiness..."

"AO, WAIT!!"

Needless to say, Kokkuri's plan was a success.

"So, how was it? The time with your friends?" Hanako asks.

"Oh, it was great! Aoi, Yashiro, Akane, and even Lemon was there."

"What'd you do?"

"Summoned a Mokke." She laughs slightly.

"Huh..?"

"Hehe... It was funny. First they asked what type of weather tomorrow will be and it said rain, the next one was who Akane has a crush on and the Mokke went to say candy but sneezed, moving the coin to say Lemon, and stuff went down."

"Sounds... Fun..." He chuckles.

"Yep! I wasn't apart of it much, I watched while eating candy with a few other Mokke."

He hums and nods. "You are an interesting one, Y/n." He looks at her and smiles, turning back to his cards. "But that's one of the many things I like about you, Lady zero."

She smiles.
