My Personal Development teacher ask a question in the classroom
"What will happen if you finally know yourself?"
My classmates state their opinion,
But none of them truly answer the question.
Others tried but stop midway,
They questioned and ask our teacher,
But he just smile and leave,
For his period is up.
I have an answer,
But I'm afraid to say it in front of the class.
I have a stage fright.
And I don't really take his subject.
I'm an irregular student.
So I wrote it down,
And passed it to him without saying a word.
Later that day,
He called for me in his office
I was nervous,
Embarrassed,
It was my first time showing someone my thoughts
I don't really like participating and often keep my opinion to myself.
I remember hiding my face to him out of embarrass
He praised me saying how great my mind is for thinking that
He smiled to me saying that he ask that question because even he doesn't know the answer.
He wasn't expecting anyone to know the answer,
So he was surprised to see my answer.
How my answer opened up his eyes and somehow,
He too understand and relate,
I remember laughing
When I tried to take back my paper,
He grabbed it before me and said;
"Akin na to. I fa-frame ko pa to at isasabit sa ding ding"
I was happy,
That finally,
a teacher didn't belittle me.

For me,
when you know yourself you will become blank.
Because when you already know yourself you won't have to ask questions anymore
and because we people is by nature will never be satisfied and will always be curious,
to feed that hunger we seek more even though we already found ourselves,
we will never be satisfied,
because of that we tend to learn of what other people's lives,
what they think,
what they do and what they are,
because we already solve our own mystery,
our soul.
And just like a video game,
when you already know all the routine,
all the moves,
all the quest,
and all the cheats,
it will become boring to play.
Or a rubik's cube,
imagine you're a rubik's cube,
at first it's challenging
and hard to solve
but once you know the pattern/yourself,
you will know how to solve it/you will know yourself,
and once you solved it,
and memorized the pattern
it will become boring
and empty like a blank canvas.
The excitement,
the challenge will be gone
and you will feel blank
