PSALMS 139:7-12
I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence! If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the grave, you are there. If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me. I could ask the darkness to hide me and the light around me to become night— but even in darkness I cannot hide from you. To you the night shines as bright as day. Darkness and light are the same to you.

A Seafarer's Voyage to Light
The vastness of the ocean remains dark, empty, and cold.
Will I ever be saved if my story is left untold?
The depths of the sea persist in calling me,
and the waves are burying me in the ocean's melancholy.
Wandering without clear hope or a trail to follow,
I feel stuck in this desolate and forgotten hollow.
How long can I endure this torturous misery?
Who could ever deliver me from this unending despair and agony?
I'm a stray who is aimlessly drifting somewhere.
Perhaps you could moor me to the shore so I could gasp for some light and air.
Does anyone ever hear my sorrowful plea?
All I just scrounge for is a little glimpse of liberty.
