BT (Before Tommy) ~ April 24th 2020 - July 4th 2020
The "Before Tommy" era is the beginning of the Dream SMP and the beginning of the forever amazing storyline and server that has helped many creators gain subscribers, have a forever impact on youtube history and inspire many generations. In the beginning, the server was introduced as a survival server with the dream team and a few close friends. Everyone lived close together and the Community house was the core of the server at the time.
AT (After Tommy) ~ July 4th 2020 - July 24th 2020
The "After Tommy" era saw a huge growth in the watch time of the server, nearly doubling the number of watchers and subscribers of most of the creators on the server. As a result, the SMP had many more well-known events and builds occur than before. During this era, these events had taken place:
"Disc Saga"
"The socialising club"
"Burning of Ponk's lemon tree"
Many historical builds were also created, like Tommy's house, Punz's house, Eret's castle, Purpled's UFO, Tubbo's old house and the Jungle house. During this period, nine new members of the SMP joined:

- Punz
- Purpled
- WilburSoot (Wilbur)
- JSchlatt (Schlatt)
- Skeppy
- The_Eret (Eret)
