I remember a tear soaked floor
I prayed that there was something more
Life isn't what I dreamed
Yet it's not all I feared
The pain and hurt lead me here
I'll never know how I made it past that year
Now more than ten passed
Came and gone and I still hear that tear drenched song
The melody that haunts me
The memory especially
To embrace death but still dare to dream
To cry and scream but nobody was listening
To live past giving up
To extend the pain for future gain
10 past a life almost lost what a shame
But now i know what I truly have gained
