At least once in your life
The path you've always known
Split, cut like a knife
No longer destined to be your own
Its startling to remember
Even when just glancing behind
Feeling as an avenger
Stumbling seemingly blind
Each step uncertain
Missing what was clear
Realizing it was never yours to obtain
Fate is a constantly turning gear
Ain't no destiny worth changing
Not a treasure without strife
Venture past your caging
At least once in your life
