A piece is chipped from the weight

A piece falls on hardwood floor

More are to fall
More pieces give way
More cracks that shall splinter
More shattered pieces to bounce
And light up the floor

Another piece falls
Snap, snap
Now here comes them all
Release, release
It all came shattering down
