"Hmph, I don't know what happened back there. That dragon kid came out of nowhere just to protect that girl." Lucina dragged her feet across the soft dirt and kicked at it. "Why didn't I kill him? There was no reason for me to spare that kid." She groaned to herself. Once she reached a river, the roaring sound of rushing water caught her attention. A fish jumped out of it and splashed water on her. Her wings twitched before she jumped over it.
Besides that girl, there are a few more people left to kill. I need to speed this process up. Lucina's head throbbed as she winced. A wave of auras headed to her before she glanced at the sky. Eight shadows approached the vicinity and surrounded her.
"We found you, Lucina. It took a bit but my speed is pretty good." Rush stood on top of a tree. "Just had to wait for the others to catch up." He cracked his knuckles with a scowl.
Sin joined him on the right. "The death reapers are here to avenge the one you killed. Your death will be at our hands." His eyes lit up as fire and lightning manifested over his fingers.
Kira flipped her hair before it extended in length. "It'll be fun to curse you to death. Your death will be extremely painful and beyond what you've done in the past."
"Heh, I wasn't expecting you to find me here. Where are the others? I'm expecting Lucy to show up." Lucina soon closed her eyes and exhaled. "Oh, she isn't even close."
"Yeah, hate to break to you but we split up." Troy twisted on his robotic arm as a red aura bubbled from his skin. "We'll be taking you down before they even get here."
Sin pulled the communicator out and pressed the button. "I'm letting you know that we have found Lucina. It's just us and her out here by a river." He slipped it into his shirt and smiled.
Kat fluffed her hair up. "Not only do you have to face us but you're on a time limit, sweetie. Hope you surrender and do not drag this out."
"Did you forget who you're talking to? I was threatening Heaven and Hell just an hour ago." Lucina faced them with a smirk. "It's funny you think this will be enough to stop me."
Celtyx quickly chewed on her gumball, a scythe extended with a pink aura. "You're weaker than you were since then. We can take anything you throw at us."
Lord X crossed his arms and inhaled. "Let's get this over with so I can eat! This arrogant chick is making me bored so come on." He yawned.
"I'm right with you, guys. Percy and Sidus are watching over us so don't fail them." Ace chimed in with a grin. He unzipped his biker jacket and pulled back on each glove.
Lucina narrowed her eyes. These eight weren't much of an issue when I escaped. I can only wonder how I'll fare with them. She patted each arm and flexed her muscles. Darkness swirled from her feet and circled her body. The ground rumbled while the river behind her stopped.
Sin snapped his fingers. "Death reapers, go for the kill!" He yelled, his fingers sent a stream of fire and mixed electricity into it. They walled off the river and closed her in.
Ace soon teleported into the shadows and reappeared under her. "I got you in place, girl. No way to escape." He grabbed her by the ankles and dug his shadows into each foot.
Kira used her hair to constrict Lucina's arms and legs while purple flames emerged. A pair of water chains cuffed her wrists as Kat waved to Lucina with a smirk. Troy and Rush approached her with their auras clashing against each other.
"Now that you can't run we can get to business." Troy held his arm out and it sprang forward. With a solid punch to her gut, his red aura spiked and tore into Lucina's shirt.
