It's been a day since the boat took off, away from shore, miles and miles away from land, just a boat and the waves. These thoughts seemed to make a certain someone a bit sea sick

(WTF HAPPENED TO THE QUALITY IM CRINGING) Paintbrush seemed to have noticed that lightbulb was feeling sea sick.
"Hey? You alright, you look a bit...off," paintbrush asked.
"Wha— Of course I'm alright!!! I've never been sea sick in my life! Totally!!" Lightbulb said suspiciously quick. Paintbrush noticed that she was acting quite different.
"Whatever you say," they replied sarcastically. Paintbrush then walked off to their room. Lightbulb did the same. The second she walked in her room the walls are covered in maps, plans, and other stuff. Lightbulb opened a drawer that had a book labeled "plans". Lightbulb opened the book. It had tons of pages, and a bunch more words. There were tons of sentences scribbled out, and drawings as well. Lightbulb opened up to a Harley filled up page and started drawing she was mumbling to herself
"This plan will work! It's got to work!" Soon the finished the drawing and looked at the amazing plan she had thought of to get the item. She grabbed the stuff she needed for the plan, a rope, something heavy like a book, a decoy for the item she needs to get, and a trip wire. Lightbulb had to wait for the sun to set and when it did she set her plan into motion. First she tied the decoy to the rope, next she grabbed the heavy book, then she went out to the top of the boat she still felt sea sick, next she ties the rope to something that makes it so that once the trip wire is set off it'll drop the decoy into the ocean, there-for making making paintbrush think that lightbulb lost the item. It was a flawless plan!!! Until lightbulb started doing her part. She had texted paintbrush and asked them to meet her on top of the boat and they replied saying that they'll be there in 5. Lightbulb went to the meeting spot and waited, paintbrush arrived in 5 minutes like they said they would. They asked her why she had asked for them to meet her up here and she replied with
"Oh I wanted to ask if I could borrow your snow globe, it's for some fun little project I'm doing." They said yes. Paintbrush left to get the snow globe and came back soon after. They handed lightbulb the snow globe but asked
"Be careful with it, it's a family heirloom!"
"Yeah, yeah painty. It'll be fine!" She replied. Lightbulb asked if paintbrush could walk her back to her room. They said they would. Both of them started walking and soon the trip wire got set off at the perfect time, paintbrush had looked away. Lightbulb quickly put it in her pocket and yelled
"OH NO!"
"What? What happe-" paintbrush quickly turned around to see lightbulb on her knees facing the ocean with no snow globe in sight.
"Paintbrush I am so sorry! I tripped!" Lightbulb said, lying.
"Lightbulb! Wha- how could y-" paintbrush looked at the water.
"Wait a second. That's not my snow globe? That's a book labeled plans?" Paintbrush replied. Lightbulb looked suspicious, then quickly darted off. Paintbrush chased her to see the snow globe fall out of lightbulbs pocket and break.
"MY SNOW GLOBE!" Paintbrushes yelled quickly stopping to avoid stepping on glass. Lightbulb ran over and grabbed the gem that was inside the snow globe and quickly darted off once again. Paintbrush looked up at lightbulb who was still running. They were going to figure out what just happened by talking to lightbulb tomorrow. Paintbrush sadly walked back to their room and flopped down on their bed.
"What was that! She faked my heirloom getting dropped in the ocean, darted off, broke the snow globe, then took the gem inside." They said cluelessly. They decided to calm themselves down and read a book. Soon after they had fallen asleep. Lightbulb on the other hand was absolutely ecstatic! She was practically bouncing off the walls, she had finally did it!
"I FINALLY EARNED A CHANCE AT REDEMPTION!" She screamed in excitement while holding the gem overhead. "I can't believe I actually did it! I'm actually cut out for this!" She rambled on and on to herself. She really was excited, maybe even the most excited she could be! But then, she remembered that her and paintbrush had actually gotten close and became friends. She started to look back on her decision. But it didn't change anything. She still decided to keep the gem to herself. She then set the gem in the same drawer as her journal had previously been in, aka the plans book. It had a lock on it. She then drifted off to sleep.
Yoooo hiii message from creator I'm trying to update ALL of my stories as much as I can but with maybe 5 soon to be 6 and some not even started yet it's a bit hard, so it might take longer to write this one cuz it's newer so yeah 👍 also I cringed the entire time making this cuz I think it's a teensy bit earlier for her to have the gem but let's see where this goes yeah
