Part 4

You continue walking down the path for five minutes. As you take another step, your foot finds only air. You stumble, and find yourself falling.

A burst of light. You shield your eyes as they become accustomed to the sudden brightness.

Then, you notice the music. Circus music. And the clown standing in front of you.

"Welcome!" the clown says cheerfully. "Which way would you like to go? Only one path leads to a ladder."

On the clown's right, there's a derelict popcorn stand, concealing the path behind.

On the clown's left, a marshmallow stall conceals a path, dusty and unused.
