When Draco texted me he was coming over,
I hopped my ass in the shower and shaved.
Not jus no regular shave, I'm talm bout no
hair in sight type shit.

He prolly not even on tha, but it's good to
be prepared. I was putting lotion on when my
mom walked in my room. "Ma! You can't
knock or sum?" I asked.

She rolled her eyes, "Girl this my house." I
thought she wouldn't be home. Thas why I
told Draco he could come over. My mom is
nosey as hell, if he here she gon bother him
and assume he my nigga.

"I thought you was going out tonight?" I
asked her. She shook her head, "You kno
you cant never plan shit wit black folks."

She ruffled her hair and she looked in the
mirror. "I might still go out tho." She said.

Me and my mama are opposites for real. She
always liked being in the center of attention.
She's real confident in her self.

People always shocked when they found out
she's my mom. Her beautifully bold self and
my shy unconfident self don't look right next
to each other I guess.

Then she looked at me. "Why you tryna get
me out the house, you finna bring some lil
boy in here?" She squinted at me.

I blushed making her smile at me. "Girl you
got a new fella and didnt tell me? How long,
when can I meet him?" She sat down placing
her hands in my lap.

"It's nothing serious, we jus started talking."
I told her. She rolled her eyes, "Anything is
better than tha Picky. Chile, when I tell you
I was so scared you woulda got pregnant by
him." I fidgeted with my hands.

Oh no, I was NOT finna let that happen.

She stood up, "But I guess everything had
to work itself out on its own."

"I guess ima go out. Let you keep yo lil
mystery man a mystery." She smirked. I
smiled back at her before she walked out.

I finished getting ready and sat around to
wait on him for what felt like forever.

I took out my phone and started scrolling
on instagram. I saw Keke posted sumn.
