The morning has arrived through the white tulles of the suite with a few exciting and one particular odd news, which went viral. So viral. In fact, Macy couldn't scroll down any page without seeing the doomed picture of it. All she wanted to do was focus on the fun ones like that newly discovered planet and the newest blurry picture of Bigfoot, who was probably blurred by nature, honestly. Otherwise, it must have been the unluckiest creature ever when it came to taking a picture. Being amused by her own theory, she mentally noted to record a podcast episode about that –

Gods.

She jolted her body up from the bed as a notification popped up on her screen to let her know her photos kept getting an astronomical number of likes. Really? The newest picture of Bigfoot was there! What was wrong with these people showing more interest in the photographs she'd posted a year ago than they displayed toward an immortal icon? That was just disrespectful.

Puffing her cheeks in exasperation, she pushed a long breath and turned off her notifications before tossing the phone to the side.

Well, one could say that there were some people, who weren't so stunned by their ridiculous entrance to the hotel yesterday and even had enough time to snap a few pictures. It was her wrapping her arm over the villain's shoulder as he carried her to the elevator. Placing the photograph as a cover for their article, 'Just Married' some of the unimaginative tabloids had written in black, bold letters. She objectively enjoyed that one particular title that said 'Twists, Chaos, and Love At Blanchard Hotel'

She would probably watch that movie.

Gerard must have let Eloise know that the secret had been out and that they'd announced their marriage though as soon as he'd dropped Macy to the suite because her high school rival had given the news through her website before anyone could have even typed it. To be fair, Macy had promised to let her publish it first, but that was some fast-thinking from the villain.

And annoying.

On a stupid level.

Speaking of stupid things... She hadn't realized this suite had a lot of them yesterday, definitely creating a funny pattern at every inch her gaze scanned.

Two thin but tall bookcases of smooth black stood by each side of the wall on the platform, where the bed was. Small, colorful figurines and airplane models adorned its frames along with books. Down on the platform, there was a sitting area in front of a modern fireplace that worked as a divider. If the linen set of gray sofa and armchairs surrounding a glass table hadn't looked inviting, the small, onyx kitchen behind the walls in the middle of the room adorned with geometrical shapes definitely had an allure, forcing one to get up from the cloudy comfort of the sheets and try out the shiny coffee machine.

It was the size of her home if not bigger. The walk-in closet next to the bathroom left it open to debate.

Foxy, on the other hand, looked mesmerized by the city view, judging from the way he kept bouncing and putting his little paws on the windowed wall opening to the balcony.

"Your dad didn't let you out, did he?" Macy mumbled, drawing his eyes to herself, "I don't know how he does it, really. He must be really evil to resist your cuteness."

Foxy craned his neck and blinked at her, and Macy believed that he was a little overprotective when it came to his dad.

Oddly, she could understand.

"Lucky for you," She murmured, tossing the thin blanket aside and rising from the bed to approach the balcony door. "I'm not immune to that." Opening it by its metallic handle, she watched the fox bolt into the narrow balcony and reach for his favorite tennis ball beneath the sofa on the corner with his tiny paws.
