with renewed confidence in himself, Royal sailed back to the base with his Sisters. having completed his training and being found by his Sisters during said training, he had no choice but to join them during lunch as a small form of punishment for deciding to skip breakfast
he had little to argue about and there was no reason for him to complain and as such he followed suit without question and followed his Sisters back to the base. at said base, the girls were in full swing as they looked and did what they had to do to finish their work so that they could have their lunch breaks as well. sorties were beginning to swap around as previous patrol sorties returned for their breaks while new sorties were sent out to fill the gaps in the defenses of the base
in the Royal Gardens, the rest of the Royal Navy's inner circle of command had already assembled for their routine lunch, which was already prepared for them by the Royal Maid Corp. they were waiting for their Majesty amd the rest of her Class to return as there was a few things to discuss which coukd be done over lunch
rising concerns have both the Eagle Union and the Royal Navy on edge as recent enemy activity reports that something big is being stirred up and Azur Lane itself is possibly the main target for this. present matters regarding Royal were also still evident in Azur Lane, which did not help the situation even if it had died down quite a bit already
many were still skeptical of Royal but many have let themselves trust the words of their leaders and have put their faith and trust in the powerful fighter as they came to terms with the fact that their doubt does nothing to help in the situation. even if they knew little about Royal, they at least knew he was loyal, reliable, consistent and powerful and it was emough of reason to at least break him down
patiently waiting for their Majesty and her Class, it wasn't too long until they had arrived as Q.E, Warspite, Valiant and Royal stepped into the Royal Gardens , where they were immediately greeted by the rest of the Royal Navy Officers. sitting down at their seats as the maids bring the food trays from the carts, the Offices bring her Majesty up to speed with the worrisome news from the patrols
Wales:welcome back your Majesty
Q.E:likewise Wales, what news do you all have for Me
Hood:quite concerning news your Majesty
George:reports from the scout fleets say that they have picked up sighting of heavy Crimson Axis movement in open waters
Warspite:how far out?
Illustrious:we're afraid that it is quite far out, far enough to be outside the effective defensive range of the base, the fleets had take a heavy off course from the planned patrol route to see better and chased quite far before encountering a Sakura Empire battle group
Valiant:oh dear, are they alright
Hood:they luckily disengaged early enough to flee and return with the info but they did not manage to see what they were up to
Q.E:what they did was more than enough. what has the Eagle Union done about this
Wales:Yorktown has ordered multiple fleets to assemble and be ready for combat sorties. she has not openly said it but it would appear she wishes to engage the Sakura Empire
Warspite:what would they be doing out there however, the open waters here hold no known secrets, could they be assembling for an attack on the base again
Valiant:could they be setting up a forward base
Royal:or are they luring us into a trap
looking to the boy who spoke his first words sinc arriving, everyone turned to Royal, who gave an interesting insight to the groups discussion
