the day proceeded as normal for the base. Royal continued his chat with Fortune, discussing the multiple relations of the of the people on the base and the relation of the factions as the Knight learned more about the different intimacies of the world
on the other hand, Royal's sisters entered their quarters at the top of the tower to sit down and talk more about private matters they thought were interesting, like how their Brother was beginning to form bonds with the fleet, starting with the Destroyer he was talking with
as for the rest of the base, the girls continued with their duties and their agendas as the Eagle Union held a discussion with Wales and George in regards to the counter plan that will be used against the Sakura Empire if they really had made a trap
no one was sure of what the Crimson Axis had in store or what kind of plan they had made but the Royal Navy was confident in their success as long as Royal was able to up hold his end of the plan and such a responsibility was no deterrent to the boy in question
Valiant:so Sister, what are we to talk about today
Q.E:as much as I would like to discuss Royal's new bond making with t=some of the girls of the base, we have some more important points to cover
Warspite:like what?
Q.E:for instance, Royal's powers, which have gained a noticeable increase since the whole fiasco in the ruins. though we had managed to calm his nerves, clear his mind and steer him to a better path than self destruction, I'm sure you both understand the dangers that he possess
Valiant:the Calamities
Warspite:we don't know much about them, nor could we do much against them, if they really have started to mess with Royal's mind and body, it would prove difficult for even us to do something about it
Q.E:which is exactly why I want to take him back to the capital
Valiant:what?!
Q.E:he's been in the Artics for a hefty amount of time and immediately after words, he was sent here to the Pacific without rest. it's been some time since his last maintenance check and I'd like to see if the Professor can find anything new regarding the calamities
Warspite:wouldn't that have to wait? we've scheduled the operation against the Sakura Empire tomorrow with the Eagle Union
Q.E:I'm aware, we'll be going after the operation for a full check up. if there's anything wrong with Royal that he's not telling us, I want to know
Valiant:it has peaked my curiosity. he was never one to hide secrets from us but after the incident at the ruins, he's changed
Warspite:my best guess is that he's made contact with the Calamities of the Black Wisdom Cube but when and what happened is up for debate
Valiant:if he did make contact then it could be a trade for power of some sorts, it would explain his sudden growth and secretiveness
Q.E:possible but unlikely. we know Royal better than anyone, he's not one to align with the Sirens of any shape or form. the Calamities clearly have ties with the Sirens so it's doubtful that it would be the case. whatever the reason may be however, we'll hopefully find answers back at the Capital
as the Sisters talked freely and leisurely, they failed to notice the presence of one of their own as he stood outside the door to their room, having returned from his roaming and deciding to listen in at the mention of his name. his ears flopped down and his expression changed to one of sadness as he already knew that his sisters suspicions were already true as he left once again, not wanting to disturb his Sisters
