I wake up to my phone ringing I look at it and groaned I hate when people called me while I'm sleep.
"hello" I said in my sleepy voice
" mora yo ass better be up and have Mari ready to go I'll be there in a hour" Trey said.
" alright Trey I'll see you in a minute" I said then hung up.
Every since Jay died Trey stuck to his word an been there for me and Mari he make sure we straight and he helps me with Mari since Nicole don't care for me or Mari ,She told me " I keep a roof over y'all head ion gotta do shit else" everything that Mari and I have I bought or Trey bought she don't deserve to be called "mother".
I get up to get myself ready and Mari we both got done getting dressed so we went downstairs so I could make Mari breakfast before Trey came.
"Paris don't eat shit in my kitchen you and ka'mari can starved I don't give a fuck" Nicole yelled
" alright bruh" I sighed this lady is a damn mess
She came and slapped me " bitch don't talk back to me I will fuck you up" she yelled In my face
my phone started ringing " hello" I said
" mora I'm outside" Trey said
"okay here I come" I said trying not to cry.
" Mari come on Trey here" I told her , we walked outside and seen Trey leaning on the hood of his car
" Heyy bug " Mari said to him
"hey princess you ready for school" Trey asked her
"No" she said me and Trey bust out laughing.
Trey turned around opening the door for mari he watched her buckle up before shutting the door
" what tha fuck happened to yo face"Trey said looking at me.
"What you talking about " I said tilting my head
"Paris don't fucking play with me somebody putting they hands on you" he said.
"What? No Trey" I responded
"Are you still keeping Mari till I get out of practice?" I asked him.
" yea mama and if I find out you lied to me that's yo ass Paris" he said
" I hear you Trey" I told him

I made it to school , walking to my locker to put my extra backpack in there that contains my athletic clothes.
