"Amora baby what's wrong" I rocked her as I walked around her room
She threw her head back"Dada"She said, crying harder
"Babygirl I'm trying. I changed you and took you a bathe what else"I patted my pocket with my free hand to feel for my phone
"Hey honey"My mom answered
"Ma I can't get Amora to stop crying I den did everything"I sat down
"FaceTime me"She said
"Hold the phone to her"She said
"Hey gran gran baby what the matter beautiful"Amora instantly snapped her head towards the phone
Her cries slowly became soft "say I know that's my gran gran on that phone"Ma said
"Jaylen I think she got a ear affection because she keeps pulling on her right ear"
"She been doing that since yesterday"I said
"Yea baby that's what wrong"She said
"What type of medicine I need to buy her"I said
"None, you need to take her to children's ER so they can check it out cause it could be bad "She said
"Ight I'll call you later"I told her
She nodded "ok son love you"Then she hung up
I got up to get me and Amora dressed also pack her diaper bag. I made her a warm bottle to get her quiet for the ride to the hospital
Once we got to the hospital it was a little pack but due to Amora medical history they got her back fast.
"Ok Sir Whats going on"The doctor asked me
"My daughter has been real fussy she also been pulling on her ear a lot"I rearranged mora in my lap
"When did the ear pull start and if you can mange the time how far away is the next pull to her ear"She wrote on her clipboard
"I'll say about 3 minutes apart"I said
"Ok I'm gon run basic test first for strep, flu and covid"She walked out the door
