Info- Its third year and Ron finds out it's your birthday! 🎉 He's had a crush on you for a while 😏 —————————— You were walking to the library to meet up with your best friend Mionie. You were going to study for Snape's test together, and she wanted to give you her gift.
"Y/n!" "Oh hello there Ron! Why are you running?" You chuckled a bit at how out of breath he was. "Well... Hermione told me that.. it was your.. y'a know? Birthday!" You giggled and nodded your head while he stood there awkwardly.
"Well, I got you a gift.." He said, again, awkwardly. "Oh thank you so much Ronald! You didn't have to do that!" He smiled and blushed.
Ron brought out a small wooden box and placed it in your hands. "It's not much, but it reminded me of you.." You smiled and gently opened it.

Inside was a beautiful little golden necklace, it was shaped like a circle with the sword of Gryffindor in the middle. It sparkled when the sunlight hit it, truly magical! ✨
Ron stood there worryingly awaiting your reaction. "Oh my.." You tried to find the words, "Merlin, Ron this is.. perfect." Ron was beaming with pride, you've never seen him so happy!
You laughed and hugged him, it took him by surprise but he hugged you back immediately and didn't let go for a good 30 seconds. (Yes, he was still smiling ☺️)
"Oh here let me help you with that!" Ron took the necklace from you and tried to put it on your neck. "Um, y/n? I don't really know how to do this" He nervously rubbed his nape
You just giggled and shook your head "Here Ron, it's like this!" You took the necklace back and made him turn around. You narrated the steps to putting on a necklace, while putting it on him.
"There you are! Now you look lovely!" You smiled Ron looked at himself in the hand mirror you had in your pocket, wow he looked good. You made eye contact and both bursted out laughing. At what? You don't know!
It might've been how silly Ron looked, or the fact that he couldn't put the necklace on you, or maybe just because you loved spending time with each other!
After a couple of tries, Ron was finally able to put the necklace on you. He was right, it was made for you.
You thanked Ron again and told him you had to meet Hermione now. He nodded and watched you walk away. Something tells me this isn't the last time you two are gonna connect 😉
