{8- Hogsmeade pt. 2- Harry Potter}

You and Harry snuck out of the castle together- using the invisibility cloak- after the majority of the students going to Hogsmeade had already left.
You told Draco, Blaise, and Theo you were staying back to go over DADA homework, Harry told his crew he was helping Hagrid find a missing niffler.

Somehow, everyone bought these rubbish lies , leaving you and Harry alone

Harry pulls the cloak off of you both
"See, we did it y/n! And no one even suspects we're up to anything!"
"For now" you eyed him suspiciously
"Oh come on n/n, let's go enjoy our time together- in public for once!"
"Oh alright, but I still think we should've used poly juice potion"

The two of you spent the next few hours drinking butterbeer, tasting new sweets, and goofing off with each other
You were having a blast... until-

"Harry?!"
Sh*t.
You both turned around faster than Barry Allen to see Hermione standing there with Ronald, jaws dropped to the ground.

"Hermio-" Harry starts before being interrupted by Ron
"What are you doing here with her?"

"Um I have a name you know-
"You told us you were helping Hagrid!" Hermione shouted
"Well I don't know your name, and why are you talking to Harry? Probably making fun of him like your boyfriend Malfoy!" Ron blabbered

I was about to argue back but Harry spoke up
"He's not her boyfriend!"
Hermione looked at me strange- maybe she's catching on?

The trio started arguing and I didn't know what to say or do- so I just stood there cluelessly like a dumba** while they threw words back and forth

Luckily there weren't many people around Hogsmeade at this hour, so there wasn't a crowd to hear this mess

After a good two minutes Hermione snapped
"STOP YELLING YOU NITWITS!"
The boys went silent.
I was still standing there looking stupid as ever

She continued "Harry, can you calmly explain to Ron and I why you lied to us, and are hanging out with Y/n L/n?"

Harry looked at me nervously and sighed- I nodded
He turned back to his friends
"I'm sorry for hiding this from you, but Y/n and I have been seeing each other for a couple of months now-"

I rubbed his arm gently as he spoke
He was going to continue but Ron interrupted once again
"WHAT! Harry, a Slytherin, really! Every single bad wizard has come from that cursed house!"

Hermionie gave him a look and Harry was about to argue back when I decided to speak up this time!
"How one dimensional are you? Stereotyping me when you've never even spoken a word to me? That's like if I were to look at you and think- 'Oh another Wealsley, he must be exactly like his brothers' - it's wrong."

Ron was taken aback and Harry wanted to speak but I continued
"Yes, bad wizards have come out of Slytherin before- but so have some of the strongest! Being in my house doesn't automatically mean you're evil, it means you are ambitious, determined, and confident in you are are or want to be."

Ron opened his mouth but closed it after Hermione elbowed him
I smiled at her, she returned the favor

Ron walked away and Harry started to go after him but was stopped by Hermione
"Harry, I'm sorry you didn't feel like you could tell us you were dating Y/n- but seriously next time you lie to me I will thrown you into the black lake."
She said that with a very serious face-
We all cracked up laughing

Hermione hugged Harry, and then pulled me into it.
The three of us walked around Hogsmeade for a couple minutes just talking about how Harry and I started talking and such, Mione and I became friends, and she promised she would force Ron to apologize to me later

It feels good, letting someone else know about us. Of course my friends still don't know, but that a debacle for another time.

Right now, I was happy.
