As I go in the streets of the road
In the darkness of the night
On a lonely bus
In the unsympathetic cold of the night
With a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach
In the depths of my mind
As you wave me with a smile
"Good bye"
I wave with a smile on my lips
with a void in my brain
while my heart laments
at the thought of
going Away.

I wrote this while returning to university after my first time visiting my hometown. My university is almost seven hours away from my home and, since it's my first time at the thought of going to college, leaving my home after a whole week of staying at my home felt as if my whole world was collapsing.
