Have you ever loved someone so much but had to let them go for a friend, well i had and here is the story.
Today i was really excited Why? Well because i heard rumors that vinnie was going to ask me to prom. I've been dreaming about this since elementary, when Vinnie first talked to me.
Flashback
I was crying in the benches because i scraped my knee cause some random girl pushed me.
"Hey what's wrong" said the boy with blonde hair
"I scraped my knee and it stings really bad" i said trying not to cry infront of this cute boy
"Oh im sorry to hear that" he said
"It's fine" i said
"My name's Vinnie, do you wanna color with me?" He said
"Hello Vinnie, My name is Y/n and i would love to color with you" i said feeling a little bit better
"Okay,I'll go get some crayons and a coloring book, stay right there" he said running to the art's in crafts box
I was chucking because he told me to stay her. Like where would i go if knee is scraped?
Anyway the whole recess was us getting to know each other. He told me he had a brother name reggie that was 2 years younger then him.
Flashback off
I was now opening my locker when i felt someone hugging me in back. At first i thought it was vinnie but when i turned around i saw my best friend Alice.
How can i explain Alice to you? Well i met alice in Pre-K before i met vinnie, Alice knew i liked vinnie. Alice used to date this kid name James in the 11th grade but they broke up, i honestly don't know why.
Anyway one night she told me had a crush on Vinnie to. At first i was very upset but later on i didn't really care because me and Vinnie never had a thing.
So i guess i was happy for her? Ok maybe not...
"Hey, y/n" she said
"Oh, hey alice" i said giving her a friendly smile
"Can you do me a really BIG" she said
"Sure what is it?" I said closing my locker
"So i heard Vinnie was going to ask you to prom" she said
"Oh really???" I said pretending not to know
"Yup, and i was wondering if you could tell vinnie no" she said
"No what?" I said dropping my smile
"That you don't wanna go to prom with him" she said
"But you know I've been dreaming about this since elementary" i said
"Oh come on y/n, you dont wanna see me happy?" she said making her self cry
I felt really bad and i really dont wanna see her sad
"Fine, I'll do it for you Alice" i said trying not to cry infront of her
