Y/n's Pov
I and Vinnie always "hated" each other but for some reason he wanted to take me out to dinner, I was a little weirded out but I just agreed with it.
I decided to wear a black tight short v-line dress with a light maroon lipstick and some mascara, concealer.
A then walk out of my front door seeing Vinnie leaning against is yellow mazda smoking a cigarette.
"You know smoking a lot destroyers your lungs" I said walking towards the car
and of course he didn't listen to me he just walk towards the car door and opened it for me.

We were now in a fancy restaurant with lots of fancy people
"You look nice in that's dress" he said staring into my eyes
"Thank you, you look weirdly good in your suit" I said with a smile and taking a bite of my pasta
"No, y/n like you literally look nice every guy that's in this restaurant is eye fucking you and I hate it" he said a little annoyed
"Ya, but there not gonna be the one taking me home tonight" I said holding his hand that was on top of the table
He then let out a smile, holding my chin with his other hand
"Do you wanna go to the beach?" He said
"yes" I said staring at him
"Bill, please" he said to the waiter

"Wait, so you never been in a actually date?" He said confused
"Nope" I said looking at the ocean
"Why not?" He said
"because Vinnie look at me, I'm boring and I'm just a girl with bad mental health issues" I said holding back tears
He then grabbed my jaw and looked straight into my eyes.
"you know, I always thought you were the most beautiful girl I've ever seen" he said
"really?" I said confused
"yes, y/n how can you not notice it I've been in love with you since we were kids" he said
I didn't know what to say or do so I just grabbed his neck and kissed him
"y/n I'm in love with you" He said
"I'm in love with you too Vinnie" I said

We were all giggling and making out till he ask me a about my mom
"y/n? How did you mom died? Sorry if you don't wanna talk about it" he said
"Oh no it's fine, she um...had lung cancer she's been battling it since I was born. And ever since she passed away I'm very scared of people I love die for the same reason" I said with tears streaming down my face
"I'm so sorry" - he said pulling me into a hug - "Come on let me take you home" he said
Vinnie's Pov
A week later...
I was currently at a party with my friends I told
y/n if she wanted to come but she said no because she was going out to dinner with her dad and his family.
"Vinnie let go out in the backyard" James said yelling since the music was loud
I then started walking towards the backyard, he then gave everyone of our friends cigarettes
"Here you go Vinnie, we all know you go crazy for these" he said handing me one
"Nah, I don't smoke anymore" I said handing it back
"What do you mean?" Kevin said lighting up his cigarette
"I just don't smoke anymore" I said
"Come on don't tell me that slut told you to stop" Kevin said
"Hey, don't talk about her like that she hasn't done nothing to you" I said looking at him
"Come on Vinnie we all know you just wanna fuck her" he said laughing
"You know what I'm leaving" I said
"Have fun with your slut" he said laughing
I don't know what happened but my anger took over I turned around and punched his jaw
