Ch. 1

I was walking home from the store when it decided to start hailing but hey that's just a normal day in Oregon but this time I heard cats like a lot meowing near a building I run over and see a box full of kittens I didn't even think before I grabbed them raced home.

When I got back I finally looked in the box to see 7 kittens! "Who would abandon you poor things" I say I take them out one by one and set them on the couch and they looked odd one and Fiery red fur and another was black with pink stripes here and there, there was one that was a green?! And another that was like cotton candy and for being a light pink fading into and blue. One had a dark purple and one other was all white with a red under belly weird and finally the most normal a blond one. When Caelum walked over towering over them as they are a main coon. I look at the time to see that it's 6:30pm "well let's start dinner and Caelum be nice to them tell the same to Eddie I don't need them to get injured" I say talking to her. I walk over to the stove and trim it on to cook some steak for me and the cats. When I cook I like to sing so I started singing

In a kingdom high upon hill
In a land of ago
Sat a woeful king, waiting for the sting
Of death's impending blow
For a clockwork dragon to the west,
Burned a village all away
Breathing fire and steam, it had now been seen
Heading in the kingdom's way!
Protective of his subjects, this king issued a decree
He stood before kingdom and cried, "this is what we need!"
Men of valor who will fight the dragon to the death
Warriors to go extinguish fierce and fiery breath
Selfless knights to fight in battle, man against machine
Heroes who will give their lives for king and queen!
The dragon go the king's best men they were no match for the beast
To the fire they'd run, and yet one by one
Every knight wound up deceased
Now a wee young girl named Valerie
With an artificial heart
To the king did speak and though small and meek,
She was kind and she was smart!
She asked the king, "why don't we try approaching peacefully?"
The King, he laughed and said, "dear girl, I'll tell you what we need!"
Men of valor who will fight the dragon to the death
Warriors to go extinguish fierce and fiery breath
Selfless knights to fight in battle, man against machine
Heroes who will give their lives for king and queen!
But Valerie was strong of heart, and she knew what she much do~
Her clockwork hear was guiding her, and she had to follow through
And so she traveled to the feld
And she called the dragon near
As it flew on down, it could hear a sound
Quite familiar to its ears
The the ticking of her clockwork heart
Sounded so much like it's own
And the calming tick had reminded it
Of its maker way back home
The dragon bowed to Valerie, to willingly concede
The humbled king then proudly shouted "she's the one we need!"
We need Valerie to tame the dragon for us all who'd have thought our hero would have been so small?
She has soothed the savage beast, so sound your horn and drum!
We shall sing her praises now for years to come!

As I finished singing the food was just about done

Brawler pov
We got token in my a girl who looked week but she did have a great voice so much so I was dosing off until I randomly shot up "gggrrrrr Someone fight me I'm bored!" I exclaimed it was true I was getting bored and this small body isn't helping I ran to the girl and jump on the counter "oi girl! Hey don't ignore me!" I was trying to get her attention "you're a talkative one aren't you I'm going to name you Red like fire, well Red my name is Amara! Nice to meet you" Amara said rubbing my head it felt cold as her hand left my head I lay down on the counter as she started dishing up the food. As I was drifting off she placed the bowls down making me jump at the sudden noise. I go over to the food and start eating as she called over the others but these other three cats came over one of them was big almost the same size as the dog

Speaking of the dog she slammed into the door before crashing into the cupboards almost running into her food blow then inhaled her food like a damn vacuum. I finished eating and as I was walking away Hoodlum called me back. "What?! I was going to fine where Amara went." I said "we need to make a plan to figure out how to be human again! Please stay then you can go fined her." Swindler said I walk back over "so do we all know what happened or no." Hacker asked "I was walking back to hear the plan then I blacked out and woke up in the box as a cat." Swindler said everyone one agreed with her, but I already left I think I saw her go into this mysterious room. I paw open the door as it was a crack open and saw her sitting at a table writing but then balling it up and throwing it on the ground and trying again. There were so many book all seemed to be on different things to like fantasy, murder mystery, true crime, romance, action, everything you could think of in this small room. I jumped up onto the table "hey! What are you writing?" I ask all ready knowing she isn't going to reply "oh hey there Red didn't see you there hehe *sigh* I don't know what to right! Mmmhhhhhmmmmm. OH I got it! What about your normal every day girl! You following?" Amara asked I nodded.... She was silent for a moment "wasn't expecting that but ok. But your normal everyday girl gets transported into a different world where they have powers!! Huh so what do you think... I know it sounds awesome!" Amara said "hell ya that sound cool!!" I reply even though she doesn't understand stand me I still try.

Amara's POV
I was done being a crazy cat lady and talking to Red I look at the digital clock in my mini library and it was 12:40?! "I got to get to bed!" I say picking up Red and putting him on my shoulder and walked out of the room and went into the living room and grabbed the other kittens and took them to the boys room and put them on their couch to sleep but Red refused to leave my shoulder.

I gave up on getting on the couch and took him with me I turned off the lights and closed the door as they were sound asleep I heard the front door open to reveal a very tired Luei. "Hey Luei. Long day I'm guessing?" I asked already knowing the answer tho. "ya, did you already make food? And is Aiden- why do you have a kitten on your shoulder?" He asked "I made food already for Red and they other kittens. I found them when it was haling hard! I don't know who would do that but they are horrible people! Oh and Aiden is not home yet." I say as some anger boils up a bit

"Well I'm off to bed. Night Luei love ya." I say about to leave the room "night Amara love you more, get some rest!" He yelled back I get into my room and lock the door like always and take off my jeans that I had to wear today and slipped into some pajama pants and slipped off my shirt off I look over to see Red just starring at me "what? Hehehe come on let's get to bed." I say picking him up and slipping under the covers as Red was laying on my stomach and resting his head on my boobs I slowly drift off to sleep.
