After the long walk home, Tommy closed his eyes and hoped to sleep. As if by magic, he fell into a deep and dreamless sleep, and he remained asleep until his twenty-four hour rest period was over.

When he awoke, he felt as though his limbs were on fire. He gasped in shock, the pain lingering far longer than what would have been considered comfortable. Sitting up was painful but necessary, and he managed to do so quickly. It wasn't the first time this had happened, where he had awakened and had to immediately heal himself to save his aching body from another beating at abusive homes. He placed his hands on his body and started concentrating. A few moments later, the fire that burned through his body dissipated, and he made sure that every cut was now marked by a scar and every burn no longer hurt to the touch. Once he was sure he had healed himself fully, he got to his feet and headed into Ranboo's room. Ranboo was very sensible, and he just needed to convince him that he was capable of running and jumping like normal before he could carry it out. Thankfully, besides being squeezed to death in a three way hug, he found that they were very willing to let him go. Now all he had to do was wait until it was dark and he would be able to pay his eldest brother a visit.

The night was calm and crisp. Theseus jumped from roof to roof, heading into dangerous territory. When he reached the district border, he opened his wings and flew towards his old house. Ranboo and Tubbo were keeping eyes on the other two heroes, making sure Tommy had plenty of time to get out of the area before they returned home. Tommy calmly walked up to the front door of the house and unlocked it with the key that he had never gotten rid of. He headed directly for the living room, knowing Techno would be there. As silent as could be, he sat down a few seats away from Techno, making sure to be out of his range. He had to make sure the little prick didn't try to attack him. Finally, he cleared his throat, and Techno almost jumped through the roof.

Cursing himself for not noticing the vigilante sooner, he got into a defensive position. "Whoa whoa, watch your leg there Blade. I'm not here to hurt you. I'm here to discuss something very important." Tommy held up his hands. He didn't feel like Theseus here. Instead, he felt small, but he made sure to seem as confident as ever. "Listen kid, I don't know how you got in–" "I used the key!" Tommy interrupted. "Listen, I'm going to tell you some things right now, and I need you to listen carefully. But before I say anything, I need you to promise me not to tell the rest of SBI. If you tell them, I will find out, and I won't hesitate to leave this world, which as you will learn in a minute, you don't want to happen. Now, do I have your word?" Techno knew he was in no position to bargain. "Alright, fine. You have my word." Tommy smiled. "Good! I guess there's no need for formalities anymore, are there Techno?" Techno cocked an eyebrow at the young vigilante in front of him. "Yes, I know who you are. Let me refresh your memory of me." Theseus took off his mask, and Techno was shocked to see his assistant smiling up at him. "Man, this place hasn't changed a bit!" Tommy smiled again, and Techno frowned. "What do you mean?" Tommy laughed. "Do you really not remember me? I know it's been a while, but I still know who you are!" When he saw the confused look on Techno's face, he sighed. "Come on, Doomsday Squad, you and Wilbur trained all the time, on my fifth birthday I left? Is any of that ringing a bell or do I need to spell it out for you?" By now, Techno had a pretty good idea of who this was. He blinked a few times, making sure his eyes weren't playing tricks on him. "Thomas?" Tommy smiled. "Nice to see you again Tech. But I go by Tommy."

Techno looked over at him, a smile playing across his lips. "It was you the whole time." He stared in wonder at Tommy, looking him over carefully. "What happened there?" He pointed to one of the many visible scars on his arms. "Some of them were from abusive foster parents, but most of them are from villains and petty criminals. Why?" Techno shook his head. "Because no one should have that many scars." He said sadly. Tommy smiled. "Be grateful you can't see my torso. It's a bit grim." He laughed again. "This one was probably the worst." He said as he pointed to the scar that ran from his left thumb and ran all the way up his arm, continuing even above the sleeve of his shirt. Techno looked at him again. "You saved me." He stated it as a fact and not a question, and Tommy smiled. "Yeah. As much as I hate the heroes, I can't let them die, especially not my own brother!" Techno shook his head. "That was really dangerous Tommy. You shouldn't have done that." Tommy laughed again, though this time, in disbelief. "You think that was dangerous? Ha. That was easy. Now child trafficking, bank robberies, several wanted criminals with weapons all pointed your way, maybe add an abusive foster parent with a gun? That I could consider dangerous, although all those issues have been resolved thanks to me." Techno glanced upon his youngest brother with wonder. "Why aren't you hurt?" Tommy looked over to Techno's leg, and an idea came to his mind. "Let me show you." He walked over to Techno and kneeled down in front of him, focusing his powers. He gently touched his hands to Techno's leg, and both his hands and Techno's leg began to glow white. A few seconds later, Tommy leaned back and smiled. "Huh. Looks like The Blade made a speedy recovery from his injury!" He laughed as he sat back down on the couch. "Just a small fracture in your Tibia, easy enough to fix. I've had to patch up much worse." He glanced over at Techno to see him smiling and testing out his leg. "I thought you had electricity as a power?" In response, Tommy touched the TV and it turned off. "But, how is that possible?" Techno asked. Tommy answered truthfully. "Reflection. I got every power in the book. You name it, I have it." He smiled at Techno's wonder. "Wouldn't it be nice to have that for the heroes? If only you guys hadn't fucked up." Just then, he heard Tubbo in his earpiece. "Theseus, get out as soon as possible. They are three districts away and coming in hot." "Who's that?" Techno asked. "Oh, that's just my brothers telling me that I have to get moving. Remember what I said about telling anyone. I won't hesitate to go join mom." He put his mask back on, and with that, he sauntered through the kitchen and out the door. Before he shut it, he called over his shoulder, "Bye Tech, talk to you soon!" And with that, he disappeared into the night.

Techno was having a silent war in his head. Tommy returning had really fucked with the voices. They wanted him to keep his little brother safe, but he couldn't see a way to do that when his whole assignment as a hero was to track him down. Not to mention that the rest of his family was looking for Tommy's civilian form as well. Tommy really had no escape, and Techno had to admit, he was proud of his little brother. Even so, it hurt hearing him call whoever the person on the phone was his brother. No, correction, brothers. Plural. So he had replaced him and Will with someone else. He couldn't tell his father or his brother, and he had no one to go to. The one thing keeping him sane was the last words his brother had said as he left, "Bye Tech, talk to you soon!" He hoped his brother would visit again. He hated to say it, but he looked forward to when he was able to talk with him. Hopefully, things went smoothly for Tommy until they could meet again.
