Chapter 5

Y/N was in a good mood. On this beautiful day, and due to the shining sun, the young student decided to wear a pale purple skirt, pared with a cute white top and a nice jacket which matched perfectly with the colour of the skirt. When wearing this particular outfit, the bottom part of her outfit would usually be considered too short, so she wore high knee white socks and a pair of big chunky white sneakers to divert the eyes from the length of her skirt. She loved her outfit of the day, and couldn't wait for her lover to see her from afar. Y/N wanted to be as pretty as possible for her mate from now on, even though in his eyes, she was the most gorgeous hybrid being ever.

As she arrived at the university in the morning, she placed some books in her bag, as usual, when a young female tiger and a young female wolf approached her. They were part of the group that made fun of her for a long time, and they apparently wanted to keep doing so today. They started by commenting on her appearance, especially her clothes, but unfortunately for them, Y/N was too busy not listening and ignoring them. Even though their words hurt her feelings, she didn't let them reach her heart and chased their lies away. Suddenly, her phone screen lit up, as she received a text from her lover. She texted him back, wishing him a good day, but she had completely forgot about the ladies' presence near her. As soon as they saw it, they took her phone away from her hands in order to go through her personal life and possibly humiliate her once again. « Hey ! Give me my phone back ! » yelled the young sheep. « Or what ? Do you have anything to hide ? » asked the tiger female while lifting the young female's phone up, since they were taller than her. She tried to get her phone back, but the power of the delta tiger was too strong for her. Y/N was petrified, she didn't want her privacy to be invaded, so she kept trying to get it back, despite having people watching and quietly laughing. Fortunately for her, her phone got locked as they took it away from her. However, putting a picture of Jungkook taken in the park the day before as her lock screen was not a very smart move from her. As soon as the two bullies saw his face on the screen, both looked up with shock all over their faces. It quickly turned into a loud laughter. Not only she had the hottest boy in the school on her lock screen, but she was also in his embrace, laying her hand on his bulky chest, while he was kissing her cheek.

« Wow ! You are really good at editing, Y/N. » stated the female wolf. It was the last straw. Y/N decided that this time, she will step up for herself. « It's not an edit ! The picture was taken yesterday. » she said proudly. « We even went on a date, together. Besides, what we do or don't has nothing to do with you. » Those words accentuated the females' laugh even more, but when they calmed down, they asked : « Okay, let's give you the benefit of the doubt and say you were on a date yesterday, you really think that a hottie like him would want you ? » « Yeah, what make you think he would want you as his personal hole, let alone his soulmate ? » « Do us a favour and open your eyes, Y/N. You're just a toy he will dispose of once he finds his mate. » « You're wrong ! » the omega yelled. « You girls are just jealous of the way he looks at me ! You wish you could have him as a mate, just because he's a nice alpha guy with tattoos and a bike. You're ridiculous ! » insulted Y/N. « No, YOU are ridiculous ! You keep trying to make excuses for yourself, but the truth is you need to invent these stories to make your life more interesting and to bring attention on you. » said the female wolf. « Yeah, that's pathetic ! You should know your place, omega. An alpha such as himself would never even think of looking at a low-ranked, stupid sheep like you ! » continued the tiger female. It was too much for her to take. Before the tears in her eyes could fall all over her cheeks, Y/N took her things and left the ladies in the corridor and went directly to the park of the university, where she could smell her mate's scent the most.

She saw him sitting on a bench under a big tree with a couple of his friends, talking with each other and laughing. She wanted to approach him, but she didn't want to bother him either, as it looked like he was having a good time with his friends. However, she felt like she needed comfort, and her lover told her many time to never hesitate and come to him if she needed anything. So there she was, walking in his direction, decided to take him in her embrace. But once she got closer to the male group, she regretted instantly, as she had caught his friends' attention first. Jungkook then scented her delicate perfume and turned around to see her facing him. The alpha immediately smiled and got up fron his seat to hug her. « Berry, you're here ! ». Seeing how he behaved with her, his friends understood she was none other than his soulmate. Although they were surprised to see him with a sheep, and also an omega, nobody questioned their relationship. He seemed genuinely happy to be with her, and that was all that mattered.

He let go of her for a while and kissed both of her cheeks and forehead, just before passionately kissing her neck area. While Jungkook was busy giving her lots of love, Y/N was giggling, telling him to stop and trying to hide her face on his chest, as a sign of embarrassment. It seemed like her lover possessed some kind of magic, because she had almost forgot about her last incident. The wolf kept hugging her figure, so she had no choice to embrasse him as well. « You look beautiful, my daydream. Such a pretty girl, look at you. » said Jungkook passionately. « But, berry, isn't your skirt a bit... short ? I mean, it looks perfect on you, but are you sure you are comfortable in it ? » tried the alpha. « Are you asking me this because you truly care about me, or are you just jealous ? » teased the young student. « Pfff, me ? Jealous ? No way ! Why would I be jealous ? » responded the young wolf, with his ears all red from shame. « I-it's just that people might look at you a-and, you know, I was just wondering. » « So you're not possessive at all ? So you wouldn't mind if I was hanging out with people like this ? » « Babe, stop teasing me ! » whispered the alpha. « Of course I am. As a matter of fact, I am super jealous right now. » admitted the male while holding her even closer. « You are so pretty, and your legs are killing me, you know that ? I didn't even claim you yet, nor have you claimed me. » « Don't worry Kook. You're the only one I want, and the only one who can have me. » « I better be, little lamb. » said Jungkook while getting dangerously close to her face.

The wolf suddenly let his nose wonder all over her neck area, taking his time to scent her. This was a very intimate move, as it was mostly done by mates to their mates. It was to assert dominance, possessiveness, and desire over each other. Even though Jungkook wanted to lure her into his arms, he was the one who was mostly affected by scenting her. Her smell, so soothing, so luscious, and dangerously sensual, leading the male to moan in her ear out of lust. It made him weak, vulnerable, he could execute any of her demands at this instant, if she ever had one. He wanted her. The lamb got strange goosebumps she had never had before, those who made her feel warm, and greedy for her lover.

But his friends were not liking the situation at all. To them, it seemed like they were making love, right there, right now, as the pheromones coming from the two lovebirds were spreading among the air. « Eww ! » « Get a room, Jungkook ! ». Hearing these comments, Y/N immediately detached herself from her mate and apologised to his friends, considering that her mate was still entranced by her scent. Jimin, one of his subordinates, and good friend of his, rolled his eyes at his alpha, and turned to his soulmate, Taehyung, wondering if they were both like this when they first met. Namjoon, Jungkook's beta, didn't hesitate to respond with a great « Yes, you were ! » to his friends, making Jungkook laugh. « How is she doing, Hyung ? » « She's fine » answer Namjoon, approaching the alpha. « her due date is in a month, she is exhausted, stressed, scared, but I have faith her. She'll do great. » « Of course she will ! Your mate is one of my deltas, she is very strong. And I am proud of your, future daddy. » teased Jungkook. 

The beta laughed along with his friends, but soon a serious look in his eyes appeared. « Y/N, I think that I can speak for all of us, we wonder why the Moon chose you for him. But we trust in her more than we trust anyone, I am sure she took the right decision. It is why I want to personally welcome you into our pack, into our lives, and I wish you to be a great Luna, I am sure you will be great. » declared the young man. These words warmed her heart, she was scared his friends wouldn't accept her, but it was actually the total opposite. She thanked them multiple times, and hugged her mate tenderly. Everybody knew how difficult it would be for the others to accept her, but for now, it was not the issue. If she made him happy, that is all they needed.
