Side Character Route - 8

Before me is a lifeless body of Kurumi Tokisaki a spear piercing through her abdomen blood clinging at the tip of the spear the floor and walls painted with red.

The one who stabbed her stands in front of me, her hand releasing the grip on her spear while the other throwing a small object that appears to be a bullet that she caught.

Gray:"I have already told you that if you hurt him.. I'll kill you".

It was Gray who arrived saving me from a certain death. It was Gray who stabbed Kurumi with a spear. It was Gray who killed Kurumi.

All of this was the results of my own actions.

Maybe if I didn't hesitate then-

Akiro:"Gray why.. why did you do it?".

There's no need to asked when I already know why but I did anyway.

Gray:"If I did not then Akiro would've been dead and I can't allow that to happen".

( ... Weird )

She said stepping back a bit letting me see more of the dead body of Kurumi the spear disintegrating into light making her lifeless body dropped dead in the floor.

Everything happened so fast I didn't know how should I respond or react at all of this, I just stared at Kurumi until my body moves on its own walking and kneeling down at Kurumi.

Not caring even if the pool of blood dirtied my clothes as I raised her body resting it to my arms. I look over at her hands seeing the ring I gave her not in there.

For someone giving a ring meant a special thing you offer to someone you love the most. As for me such a thing is not important it's more like giving a gift to someone close to me.

The same thing as marriage it holds no significant importance to me. I had this naïve way of thinking that as long as I'm with the person that I loved then that all it matters.

(Holy shit! I'm using words that I don't know if it's the right words to use)

Then my eyes landed on her neck in there I found what I'm looking for. It was a colorless ring it doesn't have any design just a normal ring ornament.

Akiro:"So you didn't wear it into your hand after all. And yet you keep blabbering about how you gonna show it off to Gray".

I said softly while reaching for the ring that Kurumi wears as a pendant and gently removing it from her neck.

Akiro:"..tsk". clicking my tongue my hand holding the ring clinch into a fist. Tighter keeping the ring Gray who saw that speaks in concern.

Gray:"Akiro it's not your fault.. Kurumi Tokisaki chose it to die by your hands but you don't have to. What even she was thinking wanting to die because of guilt? And what she wants you to kill her so that Akiro will have to carry her guilts? That's selfi-".

Akiro:"Gray shut up...". I said in a quiet voice a bit angry to her none stop talking.

Gray:"A- Akiro? Are you mad? I- ah I'm sorry I didn't mean to".

Annoyed I grumbled and stand up while scratching my head, feeling bad I walk towards Gray.

Akiro:'Now I feel like the bad guy here'. I thought "Listen Gray". I said alarming Gray making her jump a bit closing her eyes waiting for my burst maybe in anger?

Akiro:"Honestly I am mad right.. mad at you". I hug her to reassure her that nothing going to go wrong. 'Crap! Now that I think about it while I'm flirting her Shido and the others are in danger'.
