It turned out that the house in Incheon that [Name] and his father were in was an old lady's house who allowed them to stay for the time being.
The old lady was in her 80s, who was sick and lived alone as her son, a florist, moved to Gangnam and doesn't have a lot of time to look after his own mother.
"Thank you for the tea, aunty. You didn't have to." [Name] thanked the lady sitting in front of him.
"Your son is very good-looking." She struggled to speak, sitting on her rocking chair.
"..I'm going to die soon anyway, I only bring trouble to others around me. However, please come again. Before one of us dies." She joked.
"Could you do me a favour, kid? In Gangnam, there's this flower market and my son works there. Could you help him for a while? His business hasn't been doing well lately."
A stream of trucks parked alongside the stalls of Yangjae flower market in Gangnam. Run like clockwork, the truck drivers unloaded the flowers from all over the country and the world.
There were many varieties of carnations, roses, daisies, and orchids that grew in the colder climate of Seoul that was transported to the flower market.
Avid photographers extended their oversized camera lenses over the crowd to freeze the dynamic actions and vibrant colours. Many had their bags slung behind them, becoming easy targets of pickpockets.
