Tommy Pickles: The Terrible Twos (Series; Pt 1)

Big Brother Dilly Pt 9

After what took quite a bit of effort, Dil managed to drag Tommy over to the front of the cabin. Seeing that Savannah was there with the peanut butter jar, Dil nodded to her as they made their way outside onto the front porch. By then, more rain clouds had rolled in as a light drizzle had started.

"Come on Savannah." Dil said, dragging Tommy off of the porch as he made his way towards the woods

Savannah however, wasn't budging from her spot. She couldn't go through with the idea of giving Tommy to the elephants.

"No, Dil! You can gets rid of your brother if you wants, but I don't thinks I wants to help. Not this time..." Savannah sighed, walking up to Dil as she handed him the jar

"Oh...fine, I'll dos it. I'll be back. If the grownups notice im gone, dislact them." Dil replied, holding the jar under his arm before picking up Tommy by his arms once again

"Okay." Savannah nodded, going back to the porch to wait

Dil then continued to make his way towards the forest with a baby baby Tommy in tow. As he dragged his brother, the rain went from a slight drizzle to a full on downpour as both infants became quickly drenched. Of course, now with the extra weight of drenched clothing, it was slightly harder for Dil to carry Tommy through the wooded path. Not to mention that the ground had become very mushy and muddy as well. Dil, however, was determined as he didn't stop. Making it to a small clearing, Dil took another step backwards only to lose his balance and slip in the mud, letting go of baby Tommy in the process. Falling forward , Dil whined in disgust as he tried to shake the mud off that now coated his face, hair, and clothes.

Seeing the sight himself however, Tommy began laughing at the site of his brother. He didn't know what it was, but Dil felt what was like something snapping inside him as he could feel the anger inside him rise.

"Of course you thinks it's funny! Anytime I have fun you ruins it no matter if i'm the bigger brother or not! You know what, you're the worstest brother in the whole wide world and the sooner you gos away the better!" Dil angrily yelled in his brother's face, causing him to flinch and recoil slightly

Going to retrieve the jar he dropped, DIl opened it up as he made his way back over to Tommy grabbing onto his arm.

"That's okay thoughs, you can lives with the elephants forever." Dil smirked as he tilted the jar of peanut butter above Tommy

Tommy whined and squirmed uncomfortably as he tried to pull his arm away from his brother. He didn't like what was happening, he was scared! Especially of how Dil was being at that moment... Just then, a loud crack of thunder startled them both, causing not only Tommy to whimper and tear up, but for Dil to almost drop the jar again. A bit of the peanut butter did drop onto Tommy's face but Dil caught it before it could completely get dumped on the infant. That's when Dil slowly calmed, letting out a gasp as he scooted back far away from Tommy. Realizing what he had almost done was exactly like what Tommy almost did to him when he was a baby baby himself.

"After all the bad stuffs I did...even after almost giving me to monkeys...Tommy forgave me and still took care of mes." Dil whispered to himself in realization how kind his brother had been even after snapping. "I can't dos this no more...I'm still mad but I can't just get rids of him after all the nice stuffs he did for mes." Dil sighed

Even if he convinced himself to not go through with his actions, Dil couldn't shake the anger and frustration Tommy had caused him both over the past few days and even now. Lost in his thoughts about what to do, Dil was abruptly distrubed from his thoughts when the ground shook heavily after what felt like several big stompsTurning his attention to Tommy, Dil's eyes widened; an actual elephant had appeared and it was heading straight for Tommy! Trying to grab Tommy, Dil couldn't react fast enough as the elephant picked up Tommy with it's trunk.

"Hey you big dumb elephant, gives me my brother back!" Dil screamed at the elephant

However, his cries fell on deaf ears to the animal as it held up Tommy higher. Smelling what little peanut butter was on Tommy, the elephant proceeded to hold Tommy above its open mouth, dropping him in, and eating Tommy in one fell swoop just as another crack of thunder and lightning happened.

"Nooo!" Dil cried out, but it was too late, the elephant had eaten Tommy and was already walking away

This was not what was supposed to happen at all! The elephant was just supposed to take Tommy away, not eat him. Dil could feel the tears well up in his eyes as he began to sob loudly.

"I want to be the littler brother again! I-I don't want to be a big brother no mores!" Dil sobbed

At that next instance, Dil abruptly woke up in a cold sweat, tears pricking the corner of his eyes . Quickly patting himself down, and looking around he noticed that he was back to being a one year old. He was back in his crib and that meant everything was like it should have been. Sniffling, Dil wiped his tears and nose with his arm. Overhearing the sniffling coming from Dil, Savannah began to stir herself as she yawned and sat up.

"Dil, are you okays? Did you has a nightscare?" Savannah asked

"Mhm...I thinks im fine with just being the litterer brother nows. I don't thinks I'd make a good big brother anyways." Dil nodded, coming to a conclusion

"Well I think you could be a good big brother if you really tired. But that's okay! Wanna go watches Goober so ya feels better?" Savanna assured her friend before offering to watch TV

"Yeah I think I'd likes that." Dil smiled softly

Making their way out of the crib with one of Tommy's spare screwdrivers, Dil and Savannah made their way downstairs to watch Goober. However, over at the Finster's, Chuckie and Kimi were both fed up with Tommy's over concern for Dil as Chuckie, knowing this whole overprotection spheal was finally getting out of hand, decided he was going to have to say something to Tommy.
