GABRIELLA POV:

the drive to the venue was an awkward silence, I felt as if I was suffocating

even though the drive to the venue was short we had to stay inside the limo for 30 minutes so that all the guests had enough time to arrive

"When will I be moving my stuff to your house?" I ask

"Tomorrow"

"isnt that too soon though?"

"you are my wife so it would be expected that you move in with me as soon as possible"

"Okay but it's a lot of stuff so it might take me a couple of days to pack everything"

"pack what's most important and what you need and leave the rest to the movers," he says

"Okay"

I think Diego was about to add something more but evelyn interrupted him

"Everyone is here you may now enter"

"thank you evelyn well be right there"

Diego was the first to get out since it seemed as if he stayed longer he would have gone crazy or something but once he was out he extended his hand to help me get out

after we were both out of the limo evelyn guided us to the entrance before telling us

"you'll be entering in 5 seconds"

"5," she says starting to count down

Diego and I link our hands and put on our best smiles

as soon as we entered our family and friends started cheering while our photographers and paparazzi we permitted to take photos of our wedding started taking pictures

we went around to greet everyone and by everyone I mean everyone, I had to greet everyone because If I greet one family member I have to greet the rest, or else ill be scolded by my tias

once we greeted everyone including family on both sides and other mafias/ cartels we sat down to eat

for the food, I chose to have a variety of Hispanic foods and Italian foods ranging from tamales to Risotto

while we were eating family members came up to our table to give us their congratulations, etc

it was enjoyable until my cousin carmen came up to us

"if it isnt my favorite cousin Gabriella how are you? congratulations on getting married" carmen says

"I am doing good and thank you," I say putting on my best fake smile

the reason I don't like carmen is because of how she treated me, as kids she would pull my hair and cause trouble only to blame it on me. once I started puberty she would point out my acne and make fun of my body which caused a lot of body issues in my teenage years

luckily over the years, I saw carmen less and less due to my modeling career which helped a lot, and finally accepted myself and my body

"Have you been gaining some weight? you look fat, if you continue you eating like that you'll lose your husband to someone skinny and pretty like me"
