The episode starts in Aarushi's Clinic.
Kartik has just barged in to the cabin and is flabbergasted looking at Naira.
Naira is too stunned looking at Kartik.
Kartik and Naira (looking at each other): What are you doing here?
Both of them look at each other - baffled.
Aarushi is herself puzzled looking at both of them.
Naira puts on a straight face and grabs Jiya's shoulders, pulling her closer to herself.
Naira(straight face): Main yahan Jiya ka root canal karwane aayi thi...
Kartik(arrogantly): Main yahan apne bete ko pick karne aaya hoon...
Naira was perplexed upon listening the towering man in front of her.
Naira(murmurs): Beta??
Just then, Vihaan jumps off the couch and rushes towards Kartik.
The boy hugs his father from the waist and looks at his teacher, who was rooted to the floor - wide eyed.
Kartik (looking at Naira arrogantly): Vihaan...my son.
Aarushi interrupts their conversation, unable to hold more suspense.
Aarushi: Wait...Wait...Wait guys...you know each other?
Kartik and Naira give each other a sombre look.
Aarushi(curious): But how??
Kartik(sighs with disinterest): Long story Aarushi...baad mei batauga -
Naira(interrupts): Hum subah school mein mile thay...
Aarushi(realising): Ohhh....(murmurs) that makes sense now...
Kartik stares at Naira for sometime, but then takes a step forward. He stretches his hand out for a handshake, with a quirky smile on his face.
Kartik: We did not get time for a proper introduction.....Miss?
Naira walks closer to him and clasps his hand, both of them engaging in a not - so friendly handshake.
Naira(smiling faintly): Naira Ahuja ...Vihaan's class teacher.
Kartik (smiling faintly): Kartik Malhotra ...Vihaan's father.
Naira nods and takes a step back, but the intensity of the gaze between them doesn't get less.
Just then, Jiya chirps in.
Jiya(tugging Naira's hand): Mumma ice cream...
Naira(looking down at Jiya): Yeah baby....(shifts her gaze to Kartik and Aarushi) I'll take leave now, I need to hurry...
Aarushi nods, smiling at her.
Kartik keeps looking at her observantly.
Naira lowers her gaze to Vihaan.
Naira(smiling): Bye Vihaan...see you tomorrow.
Vihaan was hiding behind Kartik's frame, he was shying away.
