Chapter 18: Doing Time

We were still in the cells after 3 days and one day i decided that I had to air bend it was the only way we would get out in time before they fully charged the weapon and destroyed republic city. I started to train like aunt jinory taught me but I was still not getting it I tried meditating and emptying my mind and tried to be as calm as possible but still would just end up sitting in the same place for hours to find that Atlantia and Mai were asleep. Once I started training I would also look around the room to see if there were any other ways we could get out but there were no windows and no air vents just a block room filled with cages and tubes flowing everywhere. The next day the same guy from before came in with the cart that extracted the spirit goo we watched him do the same process that he did the other day and again he left the door open just a crack.
