Lottie can feel the heat of the sun on her arm as it filters through the crack in the dark curtains. She wakes to see a sleepy Lando at her side. She was so glad he was back. He had no idea how much she missed him when he was gone. Lottie lays looking at him, his lips gently pursed, his long lashes on his closed eyes, his little freckles. His chest laid bare, him gently breathing up and down. She could stay in this moment forever, forgetting about everything that happened yesterday. The realisation that she was now without a job played heavily on her. Lottie's savings wouldn't sustain her for long. She hoped that Kailey didn't ruin her chances in fashion, it's where her heart belonged. It's where she thrived and where she felt closest to her foster mum, Lily.
"Stop looking at me you weirdo" Lottie comes back down to earth and can see Lando's eyes still closed but a big smile on his face. He loved it when she watched him sleep, not that he would ever admit that to her.
"You're such a beautiful sleeper" She smiles looking at his smile grow bigger. He opens his eyes and turns to face her, moving hair that covers her face.
"You're such a wierdo" Lando tickles her side which causes Lottie to burst out laughing and almost wetting the bed.
"Lando no stop" Lando continues to tickle her until he's above her looking down at her. He places a gentle kiss on her lips.
"How about we go for breakfast?" Lando is still above her looking down into her eyes. Her hair messy from the night before.
"Sure, but you need to get off me" Lando rolls over back onto his side and watches as his beautiful girlfriend climbs out of bed and heads to the bathroom. He lets out a sigh staring at the roof, thankful he was now back with Lottie, how he had missed her. They both get ready to leave.

Lando is standing outside the front door on his phone whilst Lottie rushes to put her shoes on. She runs to the front door, quickly closing and locking the door behind her. Lando observes to make sure the door is locked. Lottie turns to Lando who is standing watching.
"Can I drive?"
"I've got the keys for my car?" He looks at her confused. She never wanted to drive his car before, she was always fearful of crashing it. As much as he was thankful for Lottie and her using her car to take him places, he much preferred his car.
"I know, can I drive your car?" Lando hesitates before handing her the keys to the McLaren. She jumps with an excited giggle and rushes to the car, closely followed by Lando.
"Lottie, please don't crash. If for any moment I don't feel safe, I'm taking over" He heads to the passenger side and climbs in.
"Yeah yeah, I get you. At least you can control the music" She playfully raises her eyebrows and starts the engine. The noise of the Papaya orange McLaren roars, it was such a beautiful noise. Lando already feels uncomfortable, he hated being a passenger but he just couldn't say no to her.
Lottie slowly accelerates out the driveway where she turns on to the country lane and floors it. She easily gets the car to 60 in a few seconds, causing Lando to grip the door handle in a panic, all whilst Lottie smiles on.
"Lottie, woah too fast" His panic only makes Lottie laugh loudly.
"I just wanted to see what she could do. My mini would still win in a race" She eases her foot off the gas pedal and slows down before hitting the main town. Lando is thankful of the now 30mph speed limit.
"Tell you what next time I can arrange it, I'll have you do a hot lap and you can drive" He smiles at her. He loved how carefree she was today, something he had not seen since they first got together. He couldn't help but think how much happier she was, now that she wasn't worrying about work. He knew deep down how quickly that will change when she can't be creative.
"Really? I didn't think you would do a hot lap in a Mini" She smirks at Lando before focusing back on the road.
"You're a fricking idiot" He smiles and looks ahead. He knew he would have to come up with a solution that would keep this carefree side of her but also let her use her creative side.

They arrive at a beautiful lakeside café, they had the best Hot Chocolates and pastries. Lottie finds a seat and Lando goes and orders the food. The smell of the air, the strong scent of the trees, the coffee surrounding her, the birds chirping, it was beautiful.
