The Bet

Chapter 14

*Alicia's POV*

I walk off with Maxi and Destiny, glancing back at Angello. I smile at him then to myself as I turn away.

"So tell us," Maxi says and wiggles her eyebrows as she elbows me playfully.

I blush and laugh softly. I hit her playfully and roll my eyes.

"Tell you what," I ask and wiggle my eyebrows back.

We laugh together and sit on a log near the fire. I glance a couple times back at Angello and smile to myself.

"Tell me," Maxi and Destiny say as they both poke me at the same time.

I laugh and start to tell them. I leave out the part that it was all a dare, since it never came to my mind.

Once I was finished they both were in awe. I blush lightly and laugh softly.

"Well guess we all have a man during this trip," Destiny says.

I look at her and raise an eyebrow. Destiny and Maxi nod. I knew they had crushes on Cole and Jordan! Their cute together with them!

"How come you didn't tell me," I ask excitedly.

"Well, we wanted to surpize you and wait until you got with someone. Didn't want you to he third wheeling, ya know." Maxi explains.

I nod and smile, telling them, "Congrats!"

"Thank you," they say and smile back.

"Let's go check on them. I gotta make sure Cole and Jordan are treating yall right," I explain.

"Do it when we're all sitting together here," Destiny says.

I nod and smile. After a couple long minutes, the guys haven't came to us. I hear them arguing a bit and I sigh. I glance at them to see them drinking and deep into the conversation.

"I'll be back, ima go get them." I tell the girls and they nod.

I get up and go to the boys. When I get to them I hear Angello talking about the bet to them. Assuming they don't notice me, they continue on with it.

"I'll take the money. She's head over heels about me," Angello slurs.

"How do you know? Did you get in her pants and buy her things?" Cole slurs also.

"Just give him the money, he won it fair and square. Man you luck as hell to have her. But I got Maxi, she's fucking amazing." Jordan mumbles.

I start to tear up as I listen. The only one that stopped talking about it after a couple minutes, who I think realized me, was Jordan. Cole and Angello keep rambling along about it, until Jordan clears his throat loudly.

They look at him then me. I shake my head at Angello and cry.

"Alicia..." Angello whispers and reaches for my arm.

I back up and whisper, "Don't touch me..."

I run away from them and run to the room with tears streaming down my cheeks after running through a small crowd of people. I hear Angello call for me, but I don't look back and keep running. I get past the people and off the boardwalk and to the room.

I get to the front desk and request for a new room. I pay them and take the key. I get to the room and get my things out of the old room.
