Chapter twenty:Injury

(Warning:Biting,blood,passing out)
"Nadia wake up,we gotta get out of here!"Gunner exclaimed
Nadia shot up as she heard nearby robotic barking and growling.
It was sunset when Gunner woke her up,the sky was slightly pink with a dark blue.
They both got up and started running.
Gunner could barely keep up with Nadia so he linked hands with her.
Once they grabbed each other's hands Gunner was able to catch up with her.
One of the dogs caught up with Nadia and bit her leg. The robo-dog tried to drag her away and clenched it's teeth onto Nadia's leg drawing blood.
"NADIA!"Gunner exclaimed
Gunner dove for Nadia and tried to release her from the dog's metallic jaws.
"GET ME OUT!"Nadia cried
"I got you just hold on."Gunner said frantically
Gunner activated his tail and destroyed the dog's head.The dogs ran away.
Nadia tried to stand up but her leg hurt her too much.
"Are you alright?"Gunner huffed
"It hurts,I don't think I can walk..."Nadia answered
"It's alright I got you,here you can lean on me if you need to."Gunner said.
Nadia leaned against Gunner and put her arm around him.
"We need to stop the bleeding."Gunner said
"Did we grab any medical supplies..."Nadia asked
"No,but we can stop at a nearby store and find some."Gunner answered
After a while of walking Nadia began to feel dizzy.
"Gunner...can we stop for a bit I'm gonna-"
Nadia passed out and Gunner had to stop her from falling over.
"Nadia?Nadia wake up,C'mon I need you here."Gunner cried
He layed Nadia down and wrapped his jacket around her leg so the bleeding would stop.
Gunner carried Nadia on his back and walked for hours until he found a safe place to hide.
Gunner had placed Nadia on a soft pile of leaves and sat next to her after cleaning the wound.
He waited a couple hours before Nadia finally woke up.
"Nadia,hey are you okay?"Gunner asked
"Yeah,where exactly are we?"Nadia asked
"Some where in Nevada,we're one state away from Montana."Gunner replied
"I'm sorry for passing out..."Nadia said
"You're fine,just warn me when it starts and we'll find a place to hide."Gunner smiled
