"What?" I ask, knowing that weeks of work just went out the fucking door.
"He got away, you now have to come in today" Tom said shyly, knowing how pissed off I am by my silence.
"Later.." I said in a deep voice as I hung up.
"What was that about, Josh?" I turn to see Amanda, my girlfriend.
"Oh, nothing. Love how about we enjoy ourselves" I said, walking forward with a smirk as she walked backwards to tell she hit the counter, wrapping my arms around her. I lift her to the counter.

"Sorry, baby I have to go back to work" I said kissing her, sleeping forhead.
